The Original Steaks and Hoagies - Cleveland — Restaurant in Cleveland

I found this place by accident while looking for my hotel, during a business trip to Cleveland. Had “the original” with whiz. As soon as I started eating, all of the happy chemicals my brain could release were flowing. I have had really good cheesesteaks in Philadelphia, but this was absolutely the best cheesesteak I’ve had. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The bread was warm and soft. I needed multiple napkins to clean up my face and hands. The only thing I didn’t like was that my stomach isn’t bigger so that I could eat a second one. I’m sitting here trying to figure out how I can get back to Cleveland just so I can visit this...

EXCELLENT RESTAURANT!! MY WHOLE FAMILY LOVES EVERYTHING WE HAVE TRIED. THE CHEESESTEAKS ARE EXCEPTIONAL BECAUSE THE RIBEYE, THE ONIONS, SWEET PEPPERS, ARE GRILLED TO PERFECTION AND CUT UP WITH YOUR FAV CHEESE. THE MEATBALL AND CHICKEN SANDWICHES ARE DELICIOUS AS WELL AS THE TENDERS. WE LOVE THE FRESH CUT FRIES WITH/WITHOUT CAJUN SEASONING, AND THE ONION RINGS. THE SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING AND THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY EVERY TIME WE VISIT. VERY CLEAN ALL THE TIME, SHOULD YOU DINE INSIDE OR TAKE OUT. WE ARE DEFINITELY "REGULARS"!! My sister, husband and I flew in from Kansas city and was starving and we found this just searching for places to eat that was close and we hit the jackpot 🥰. The two gentlemen in there were very nice and welcoming and the food was amazing 👏🏾 🤩. I had the Philly fries and the loaded tots. Everything was fresh and cooked to order. Only complaint I have is I can't take them back home 😭.
