Absolute Peace. If you need an escape from it all and don’t want to go far then the Clinton Community Nature Center is the SPOT! The entire area has the same feel or vibe like the Natchez Trace does. Driving through Mississippi and stopped in Clinton for the night. So happy to get in a little hiking and nature at this wonderful park. I loved how it felt so wild and natural yet is well maintained and had signs identifying the trees and plants.

Make sure the kids have up to date tetanus shots! It was more rotten wood and exposed nails than anything. Still a beautiful nature spot. Also- watch out for their ‘private’ events- they set up a cold plunge portable pool next to the kids sand box and made us leave with our grandson upset because’they needed privacy’ and they are ‘a private organization that is open to public at their discretion.
