Key Food Supermarket — Attraction in Coconut Creek

I apologize in advance for this long review. When I saw the ad for this supermarket I was really excited and decided to visit with my daughter. So we went yesterday and when we got there we were really impressed with the way the store was so well organized and clean and literally 5mns from us. Great variety of ethnic products and not too overly expansive. I was really happy to have such a great store so close. Then my happiness was chattered when we notice that everywhere we went there was this employee following us like we were thieves. So I said to my daughter: "Is she following us?" to which my daughter answered:" I noticed her but I didn't want to say anything because you are so excited to be here". I guess she heard us because suddenly she picked up an item and left quickly. But 5mns later we notice a different employee following us. At this point we just decided to leave,we paid for our items and left. I dropped a good amount of money in that store but I will not be back. We were well dressed and well groomed, we were not being noisy or out of control, we are very well mannered and respectful and well aware of how people are suppose to behave and handle themselves in public and around others , so I didn't understand or appreciate the way we were treated. I lived in Coconut Creek my whole life and this city is very welcoming to everyone from all walk of life and everyone is friendly and amazing but what happened yesterday left a very sour taste...

This store is part of a cooperative of independently owned supermarkets that was founded in Brooklyn, New York, on April 20, 1937. They now have stores in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

Key Food carries all the products you are familiar with but they also have great ethnic selections. For instance the Duncan Hines cake mix had a Tres Leches mix and the Haagen-Dazs had dulce de leche bars. It was so fun to find so many new products that I want to try.

.Everything in the store is sparkling clean and perfectly organized. The produce looked so fresh and the seafood counter was filled with delectable ocean delicacies from around the world.
