I would not recommend! I brought my dog here for an extensive stay because I had some traveling to do. He was there for 19 days, Zeus is an 8 year old male German Shepard that weighs 85 pounds. First they call about a week after dropping him off and say his scrotum looks irritated (we knew it was from him licking as that’s what he does when he’s nervous). They say they’ll call back if it gets worse. Next day, they call back and say it looks worse that they’re gonna let him see their vet and will call us back after the vet sees him. No call ever came about so we assumed the vet didn’t think it was a big deal as we told them it was from him licking them. The day has come for us to go pick him up which was 5/13/25. They bring him out and he looks very skinny so I say something and the lady working there said he was a very picky eater. He eats once a day and has eaten the same thing his whole life so there’s not anything for him to be picky about. Nonetheless, we leave and get home with him and we check his bag off food we brought because it felt really heavy still and he still had 8 full servings of dog food. 8 of the 19 bags we packed for him were still there which means 11 of the nights he didn’t eat or they fed him HALF servings of what he was suppose to be eating. So I go to take him for a walk right after we check that and notice he is walking very funny on his back right leg. When I go to check his leg, I see 3 different marks on his leg that looked either like it got caught in something or another dog got ahold of his leg. Coincidentally, Zeus had a vet appointment today with our local vet for a procedure and mind you we did a vet appointment with our same local vet beginning of April to have a check up for this upcoming procedure. The vet called me and recommended antibiotics for his leg ($176) because they said the wounds look infected on his leg and he had also lost 10 pounds since his last visit, along with him still walking weird on his back right leg due to whatever happened to his leg.
We have called and spoke with a manager and come to find out, even though they never called us back after the vet had seen him, their vet recommended an ointment cream to be applied twice a day every day until we came to pick him up so they did that without calling us back at all to ask for our consent or even inform us on what their vet came up with. The cream did not help at all and thank god it wasn’t something he could’ve been allergic to. Nonethless, she said she would look in to all this and call us back but I still wanted to inform the public that there’s a potential of this happening to your dog as well before you decide on where to drop your fur baby off and expect it to be safe and sound until you return. Mind you we paid almost $1,200 for our pups stay so you would expect him to be in good hands. I don’t usually do reviews but this one had to...
Read moreI wish I could give the boarding camp side a -zero star. The veterinarian department in the New day is the greatest. When it comes to the groomer, who also works with the pets by the name of Yvonne; I give this place below 0. I'm not sure how she has kept a job there and also why the supervisors take up for her actions. They sweep everything under the rug. I have met with and spoken to many pet owners that have had the same complaints. The pets are fine with all the other workers until Yvonne is on duty. The rules here always change. As my husband dropped our pet off he was told they have new rules this year for aggressive dogs. If they can't get them out of the pin they will be rejected from coming to the camp! I find that funny to say as Yvonne is there. We've have never had that happen when Yvonne is not there. I guess she runs the place or pushes over the owner to make rules. If I've stressed that my dog is not used to being in an environment with a lot of barking and loud dogs, it does make him nervous and aggressive. Why place him there? I pay for a vip and they changed his reservation due to not being able to get him to come out and play, allegedly. If he doesn't wanna come out leave him alone. I'll pay for personal play time. I picked my pet up after getting a call that the manager was told that they couldn't get him out of the pin to get his vaccine. Then the manager turns around after I said so allegedly you're not able to get him out, she says no I was there. Which one is it? They told you or you were there? I had to leave what I was doing and come get my pet out for them, after stressing not to put him in the environment of 20 barking dogs and a hot kennel, with no water bowls. I discontinued his wellness plan and boarding plan. He will never be back. It may not matter to lose a customer but word of mouth is everything. They need to get rid of Yvonne, the attitude is very...
Read moreI wanted to make a review for this company. If you value your pets’ health, please reconsider. Our little Shih Tzu is always with us and is/was in perfect health. She she even had a recent vet visit prior and her vet said she was in perfect health. We were traveling on a cruise and they wouldn’t allow her so we needed to board her for 4 days. I didn’t want to leave her anywhere really and it took me a lot of faith to put my trust in their care. I really trusted them with our precious baby. They seemed very friendly and the facility looked great on the outside. We left her thinking everything would be great. When I went to pick her up, I overheard one of them on the phone speaking to someone who complained their dog had diarrhea. One of the workers told the other one that another one was calling about diarrhea and tried to minimize. That was my first red flag. We brought her home and everything seemed fine but she started having diarrhea. I called them and they said it was probably the change in diet and anxiety, that she should be fine. All day she had horrible diarrhea, all night, even the next day, at one point she began vomiting. In her diarrhea I found what looked like a piece of tree bark. I was really concerned and called them again. I wanted them to look at her but they refused to see her claiming all their vets were out for many days. I asked them how they treat dogs in their care then without a vet and they didn’t seem to have an answer. They refused to take any responsibility. Her diarrhea continued and found out she had parasites she had picked up at the kennel. The vet said they see this a lot with boarding facilities. What is frustrating is that you leave your precious little one thinking everything is going to be ok, but apparently you will be sending them to Pet Parasites, not Pet Paradise…owners beware! Also, if something happens, you will be...
