So, Colfax is one of my favorite places. A beautiful place with a rich history that is well captured at the museum. Being inside the restored 1905 train depot, the setting is befitting. Each year the Colfax Railroad days is a fun event that often includes railroad equipment from the UP and a docent escorted tour of the occasionally opened wooden caboose.
