These people don't know their left hand from their right. It is so mismanaged and high school kids are running the show which is driving the business into the ground. They have given me every excuse in the book to why my order still wasn't done or why it wasn't made right. They even got my name written down as Steve when I told them my name was Timothy. I use my full name when I order out so there aren't any problems when it comes to pronouncing it. Because no other name sounds like Timothy! So I will now begin about my latest experience tonight. My wife and I called the restaurant 3 separate times between 6:20-6:30 without anyone answering the phone. It kept ringing till the answering machine picked up. We checked online to verify their hours which said they were open. How do you let your phone ring that many times without picking up? We were starved so we made one final attempt at 7:05 and a woman answered. We asked to place an order for pick up and she said we couldn't because they had ran out of dough (this was the 3rd time they said that). So we asked about gluten-free dough and she said they still had the gluten-free dough. So we were stoked! Ordered our 2 pizza's and one was without red sauce (due to my wife's acid reflux). She proceeded to tell me it would be about 25 mins and they should be done between 7:30-7:35. I proceeded to tell her my name and she was having a hard time understanding so she asked me to spell it out. I spelt out Timothy then she responded to me with an attitude and reiterated the time of pick up. I arrived there at 7:35 and had my 14yr old son go in to pick it up since I already didn't want to deal with this womans attitude. My son walked out of there at 7:45 with no pizza in hand telling me they had forgotten to make them and they would be ready in 5 mins. I was furious yet starved so I told him we would wait the 5 mins. We got our pizza's at 7:52!! We ordered at 7:05,we were told 25-30 mins, didn't get our pizzas till 7:52 (that's nearly twenty minutes!) After coming home and opening the boxes they had gotten our order wrong! There was red sauce on the pizza and most of my bacon was undercooked. My wife called to speak with the owner and all he said was "sorry we sometimes make mistakes, let me make it up to you next time you come in". We declined and have decided to no longer eat there, nor will we ever refer, we will actually deter anyone if asked about this place due to the crappy management and poor business model of letting high school kids run your place. The one good thing I can say is their gluten-free crust is great and since I'm gluten intolerant they have lost a whole lot of repeat business by myself and family. Their incompetence alone has made me go there less over the years but today was the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI write this review with a heavy heart. Authentic Neapolitan style pizza is my absolute favorite & I have loved this place for the last few years (literally RAVED about it to friends & taken people here the past few years). Their calzones were incredible!!!! Especially their Caprese special - best calzone of my life! We come here several times a year & we were just here 2 weeks ago. My husband was a little disappointed by his Margarita pizza two weeks ago because it had nearly no cheese, but it was still very tasty. They no longer offer the Caprese Calzone as they donāt carry tomatos, so I ordered a custom calzone to mimic it as best as possible & it was still very delicious. Their dough is proper & wood fired to perfection! We came back tonight tho & weāre sorely disappointed. We ordered two pizzas off the menu & they were not awesome (my husband got one with sausage & I ordered one with EVOO, mozzarella, pistachios & onions. The entire pizza was covered in onions which completely overwhelmed the pizza & made it inedible in my opinion. Iād also like to point out that mine & my husbandās pizzas sat so long at the window that they were barely warm when we finally received them. Our friendās pizza was delivered without the listed arugula. When he asked about the missing arugula the teenage boy working came back to casually add the arugula to his pizza at the table seemingly annoyed. I will say that their service has always been sub par & feels reminiscent of the āsoup naziā from Seinfeld lol. I have excused that in the past because I was so in love with their pizzas/calzones. When I politely went to reorder another entree I opted to try a calzone off their menu with the Dita sauce which is VERY garlicky. I LOVE garlic, but it was intense. Overall the calzone was very greasy & not like the calzones I have enjoyed there previously. When it was begrudgingly delivered by the previously mentioned young man, I asked if I could please have silverware to which he replied āthereās some up at the frontā. I was in the corner at the table so it would require several people to move for me to get up & retrieve them on my own. Thankfully a friend was kind enough to grab me a knife & fork from the front. I understand that it is more of a āself serveā situation with those items, but it was quite obvious how little they cared to provide any kind of service to customers even after I had tipped 20% on BOTH my orders. We received luke warm food & even cooler hospitality. Iām sad to say that we likely will not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere is something about their wood-fired pizza and toppings that sets them apart from so many other types of pizza places and they sell more than just pizza. This place has some real interesting combinations and some I have never seen before which makes it fun to try something new. The pizza with the lightly sprinkled pistachio on it is one of my personal favorites! Pistachio nuts? I know it sounds crazy but its so good! I have yet to try their calzones because they look delicious! The pizzas are flavorful but not overpowering. I think they found the perfect balance with the crust and toppings. Drizzle a little of their red pepper oil on top for a nice little kick too. Yum! But just as important as the cleanliness, atmosphere and food, it's the kind, helpful and welcoming owners and employees that play a big part in making us want to come back again and again. They make us feel welcome, valued and almost as if we were "locals" when we actually travel over an hour and plan trips around there pizza hours! Well Pizzaiolo Wood-fired pizza workers and owners, We appreciate you...
