Montclair Wedding & Event Venue — Attraction in Colleyville

My wedding was October 5th, 2019. We were the first wedding at Montclair Wedding venue in colleyville. My family and I have been trying to deal with this behind closed doors but they have ignored us and blocked me (the bride) on there business instagram. I was promised a finished venue and reassured that they (Brandi and Mark) would help me through the process since it was stressful dealing with a venue that kept pushing back their finish day. The venue was never finished by the time I got married like they promised. I know this because Brandi specifically told someone ”don’t worry the venue isn’t finished, we aren’t telling the bride.” The walls still had wet paint, toilets and other plumbing wasn’t working. The stairs weren’t finished and they just painted the concrete instead of putting in the stone. These people aren’t trust worthy and are having people pre-review before they have an event at the venue. When it came to my wedding day they weren’t helpful and when I or a vender needed my wedding planner (Brandi) they were no where to be found. They don’t have good customer service and they won’t treat you correctly. My family kept telling me that this was a bad idea and I trusted Brandi and Mark. I wish I would have listened to my family.

Bride beware!!! Hard to articulate the disappointment in my experience with Montclair. This venue only cares about making money and doesn’t actually care about you having the wedding of your dreams unless it means they can line their own pockets. We were so excited about having our wedding here, but moved out of state and canceled over 200 days out. Unfortunately, the owner was unwilling to speak with us regarding a partial reimbursement for our nearly $5000 deposit (all paid within 60 days of signing) and proposed a contingency agreement that was designed in their favor, photo below. Our wedding was supposed to be 2/24/24 and I haven’t heard anything from Allison or Montclair since 10/14/23. The way they work with their exclusive caterer, CN catering, also blurs lines because Allison is an employee of both and they can pick and choose the scope that falls under each company to their own benefit. If you’re set on this venue, negotiate the cancellation language to hold onto as much of your $ as possible for as long as possible. Don’t have your wedding here - these sheisters kept our deposit after we canceled over 200 days out because we moved out of state… they refused to work/negotiate with us as soon as we notified them. FYI for anyone interested in working with these folks… Allison and David are the people we worked with. Terrible people. Allison, David, and Montclair mgmt…. The audacity to say that you get to keep thousands of dollars of my deposit for catering is sickening to me. These people do not have your best interest at heart. Y’all can eat it.
