I absolutely love The Candy Jar! This cozy little candy shop in Collingswood, New Jersey is a true gem. I was thrilled to find they carried Dubai chocolate — available in milk and dark — which I was so excited to try. The shop is full of homemade chocolates, nostalgic candies, old-fashioned sodas, and a huge variety of sweets that brought back so many memories.
They also had what looked like ice cream or sorbet — perfect for a hot day — although I didn’t try it this time, it looked absolutely delicious.
The decor was exactly what you’d hope for in a candy shop — colorful, charming, and full of playful signage and little details that made it feel warm and fun. There are even tables and chairs out front where you can sit and enjoy your sweet treat, which adds to the experience.
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. When I asked if I could take some video content in the store, they were happy to accommodate and made me feel right at home. The warm, inviting atmosphere really sets it apart from larger candy shops — it has all the right things packed into a charming, smaller space.
I’m so glad I stumbled upon The Candy Jar and will definitely be...

Read moreThe person behind the counter was so ignorant. I was looking around and saw a cute frame that stated “stressed backwards is dessert” it had a 9.99 tag so I assumed it was for sale. I had it in my hand because I wanted to purchase it. The lady behind the counter yelled in front of everyone “ can you put that prop back” I didn’t even know she was talking to me . She got closer to me and said “excuse me put that back” very aggressive. That is so embarrassing and rude. I never encountered such an experience like that. Instead of saying “ I’m sorry that’s not for sale it’s just a prop” but it literally had a for sale tag. I was with my family and they had stuff to purchase and I told them it’s fine just let’s go they are ignorant there. I would never embarrass someone like that, her tone...
