Long review: I believe solid reviews help us all, and straight forward answers donât waste valuable time.
We were an EASY sell: We called Clean Water. I am a water geek. The water in our area is AWFUL in both contamination levels and hardness. So, we bought a whole house filtration and the reverse osmosis drinking water system with a remineralize. I recommend getting all 3. The remineralizer (worth around $40) was considered our veterans discount, but get all 3.
Kevin was great at his salesmanship and professionalism. Cody was incredible at the follow through with our reverse osmosis system and professionalism. All of our questions were eventually answered, and it is a busy time for them.
Keep in mind there are several other aspects to buying this. They are partnered with others to get this done for you:
The plumbers used were very professional! They knew what they were doing, and fit things to our liking. They did an amazing job. They are Western peak plumbing and HVAC. 5.0 âď¸Star reviews and we quickly saw why. We will have them come out on some other things we need done this summer.
The soap company thing that comes with it is SUPER, and well ⌠fun. They are concentrated products, and you add your new water to them. While they are not âseventh generationâ products, they are MUCH better than mainstream products. They smell nice and light. I actually enjoy cleaning with them, no sneezing, etc. They are Gohealthy360 out of Lees Summit, Missouri. Reviews range between 4.0 and 5.0. âď¸
Now for the âfunâ part. Finance. We ended up opting out of it, and paying for the system ourselves. Itâs pricey, and cost us nearly $9000. However, at our age we saw it as an investment in our home with the contaminants and hardness in the water out here plus our health.
They use Aqua Finance Inc. Google them, read their reviews. They have a 1.5 star âď¸ review rating. Reviews mean a lot to me, those are experiences, and they mean a lot. A hard pull on your credit is done ASAP (you ARE informed of this) if you decide to go with them. I would not. ASK questions, because it will likely get glossed over in the sales process. Find your own financing if you must finance.
Look up ewg.org to find contamination levels in your area. It is pretty bad. Truth is, I think everyone is deserving of this water. My first initial test results after install were great, and I did my own 3rd party tests. Iâll be testing again in another few months to keep people updated. It IS worth it. We dumped our old rented water softener that wasnât working. We dumped the water delivery service. No more hauling large bottles across the house and heaving them on the filter. It will eventually pay for itself. Itâs awesome to walk over to our sink and just pour knowing itâs the best!
Thank you Clean Water...

We received a water test in the mail, all official looking and with the history of Fountain and the water being potentially polluted (and us being completely new home owners), we wanted to make sure. That, and the letter had a deadline that we "had" to mail it out by. Then they called my husband to schedule an appointment to get our water tested for free because our sample of water we sent in was "lost", but the envelope made it to some eastern state (how they knew who to call).
We get it scheduled and Chris shows up 20 minutes late. Super friendly at first...until he realizes neither me nor my husband were expecting a sales pitch, and that we had only gotten the water tested because we genuinely thought we were required to do so.
"Well, I can see you guys aren't interested. You know, we spend a lot of money to come out to places for free to test your water." Essentially saying we wasted his time because we weren't going to buy a water filtration for a house we've barely lived in.
Even after my husband explained that we truly thought it was a requirement for the house, Chris got more confrontational, telling us that our water is "150 thousand times higher than what is federally allowed for water PFAS."
Okay, so first he was nice, then confrontational, and then low key threatening by bringing in "federally allowed" in the mix?
This dude also drove a Tesla, so he 100% works on commission and has bullied people and scared people into buying a $15k water filtration that may be useful, sure, but not everyone has that kind of money to drop, so now WE'RE the bad people...
Read moreI don't usually write reviews but this one did not sit well with me so I have to share with others. They start off by sending a free water test kit in the mail. Once the results are in, they go over it with us on a call. That gentleman was super kind on the call. Then they ask if we'd like to do a comprehensive test which would only be that and no one pushing us to buy anything. That's the only reason I agreed. The exact opposite happened with this Chris guy. He first of all canceled our first appointment and didn't even remember he canceled it the next time he called me to reschedule. He kept asking us to make sure we have 1 hour to spare and that he's driving up ALL the way from Colorado Springs. That's your job. Then he shows up 20 minutes late to my house and when I told him I have a cutoff as I have to get back to work, he did not like that and said I should have kept more time for the meeting. He is a full on sales guy and the only thing he gave a damn about was to have me sign the papers. When I said no towards the end, he got super offended and started saying with less words that I'm stupid for not going forward with this deal and I'll regret it. People, it's a god damn 15k dollar system. No filtration system should cost that much for water. It's a scam. He wasted mine and my wife's time. I wish I had cut him off and told him to leave earlier. Beware and I hope this...
