This review is specifically about the current pharmacy manager/pharmacist, Nicole. Nicole has a very rotten attitude for someone who is working with sick people and their caregivers. I would give zero stars if I could. I recently moved to this side of town, and started using this pharmacy. The other day, I had to have my kid’s anti-seizure medicine transferred from my old pharmacy. They did not do the transfer in a timely manner, and we didn’t get our refill that evening. I called the next morning and asked them to kindly do this transfer, as I needed the medicine TODAY, or else my kid is going to start having seizures. I gave the tech the old pharmacy phone number and the Rx number so there wasn’t any confusion as to what medicine was needed. Several hours later that day, I still hadn’t heard from them via text saying her medication was filled and ready to be picked up. So, I called them again. The tech who answered (different from the one I spoke with earlier in the day) told me that “we called them and that Rx isn’t over there”. I told her, yes, it’s over there, and that’s the other pharmacies ineptitude because they can’t find it. (I’ve also had major issues with that pharmacy, messing up my orders, filling Rx that I didn’t request and omitting ones I did request etc, but that’s for another review.) So, I called the old pharmacy to confirm. It was there, it has 3 refills. So, I called BACK to KS and, thinking I would get more professional, competent help this time, I asked to speak with the pharmacist. What a mistake that was. I told her that they should have done this transfer YESTERDAY, but y’all didn’t, so can you “please call the old pharmacy before they close in 20 minutes and promptly transfer and fill it before my kid starts having seizures?” Seizures can be deadly. It’s not like this is a headache medicine, or a rash cream. This is LIFE-SAVING medication. Instead of saying, “yes, ma’am, I’ll get right on it,” Nicole proceeds to argue with me about the fact that she was the one who called them and they “didn’t call back”. Ok, so then call them back again, why is this so difficult? Then she says she did call them back, and there are “no refills,” to which I replied that I have the old bottle right here, and it says 3 refills left, AND I just called the old pharmacy to confirm.
Yes, I had a little bit of an attitude in my voice, remember, my kid is suffering. But at NO POINT did I shout, scream, cuss, or call her names.
She gets a nasty attitude and says to me “you better stop talking to me like that, or I’m not going to serve you.” My jaw dropped to the floor. Talking to you like what? An angry parent who wants their child to not have seizures? My anger level is increasing by the second. And then I continue trying to speak, she tries to talk over me, I talk over her, and she again tells me to “stop speaking to me like that or I won’t serve you.” Now I’m absolutely ENRAGED, emotionally dysregulated, sobbing, and shaking, and I’m DONE with Nicole and King Sooper, anyway, I’ll take my kid to the ER now, instead. So, THIS is the point at which I cussed her out, because you don’t speak to a parent who is in distress over their child’s health because YOU didn’t do your job, and failed to fill the child’s medication. Nicole needs to check her bad attitude at the door when she comes to work. That is NOT how you treat sick people and their caregivers! Nicole had zero concern or compassion for the fact that without this medicine, my child will start having seizures. She was more concerned about her ego and being right, when she was totally in the wrong here. Her telling me to “stop speaking to me like that or I’m not going to serve you” was completely unwarranted, and therefore extremely rude and unprofessional. My child had several seizures last night because she did not have this...
Read moreI used the pharmacy for the past couple of years and it was an absolute nightmare. Nicole, manager is a nasty, condescending and arrogant jerk. There are a couple of techs who act just like her,as well. One has been there 18 years and the other one is probably 40,tall.Almost every single time I picked up a prescription or had a question it was unpleasant and combative. I take meds that she doesn’t like to dispense. I don’t care if she thinks I shouldn’t be on any particular medication,it’s none of her business. She treated me with complete disdain every time I interacted with her and that was often . One time I went in at 9am to pick up a script and the pharmacy was not open. There were other customers waiting as well. The 18 year tech was very rude and told us they would open when Nicole got there then walked away. It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it,right? No apology, nothing. Nicole didn’t know she had to open until they called her. What a joke. She got there at 10:15ish and acted like she always does…aloof and entitled. People had come and gone w/o their prescriptions but there were still a few waiting. Not a nod,a hey, sorry I’m late, nothing. She really is something else. It would behoove your organization to take these reviews seriously and do something about her. She dictates the culture there and it’s not good. I switched stores to one that is further from home but it is absolutely worth it. They are professional and helpful and kind. Their decorum is commendable. It’s hard to believe that you allow...
Read moreOne of the poorest pharmacies I've ever had to deal with in the United States. Not even in Nashville, Tennessee did I have such issues. And that was 12 years ago. If you can while reading my review? Run away from this King Sooper/Kroger pharmacy as fast as you can and change it to maybe Walmart or Walgreens. These people are so lackadaisical in their approach to filling patient's prescriptions, it will infuriate you to no end. They expect "you" to call and remind "them" to fill your prescription when it was turned in 5 days previously. Which in no way is it your responsibility. And it was entered in their system via keyboard from your doctor's office. Terrible and completely unapologetic in the ways they operate. They believe it's "your" fault why your prescription isn't filled. With no concrete "reason" as to why it's not filled. They act like it's no big deal. It would be to them if it were "their" script. I'm telling you the truth because I have absolutely nothing to gain and no reason not to be truthful. Pick another while you can. I already as of this writing had my doctor transfer the script to Walgreens and I'm sure glad I did. Nobody needs to be treated in this...
