Mt. Cutler — Attraction in Colorado Springs

The drive in is so pretty. Park at the mt cutler and muscoco trailhead and follows the trail up. There is a point that splits to either go up to the Mount Cutler summit or the muscoco summit. Mount cutler is about 1 mile to the summit. You will reach an overlook around the mountain, and there is a post pointing to the Mount Cutler summit, and continue up to reach the top. It is a decent sized cleared area with a bench. The hike consists of paths that have a steep drop off, I would definitely be nervous bringing dogs that weren’t well behaved...

Mt. Cutler is great hike for people who are looking for an easier mountain to summit as they build up to steeper, longer trails. The trail takes you above Seven Falls and Helen Hunt Falls so you can look down across much of North Cheyenne Canyon.
