Hidden gem in the springs! As a Maryland native- I miss the water and prospect lake is so comforting and beautiful. I love coming in the summer to see the pelicans and hang at the beach. I haven’t attended the hot air balloon festival yet, but I am absolutely going next year! Great place for families, picnics, dog walking, paddle boarding. Lots of options for restrooms, could be cleaner but not bad for a public park. Sometimes there can be some weirdos at night but other than that, one of my favorite lakes in the springs...

We live just a few blocks away. It's an absolutely beautiful view. Also a wonderful spot to go for a jog. There's some exercise equipment spread along the lake side so you can get in some pull ups along the way.

You can dip your toe in the water to relax or even drop a fishing line. There are multiple playgrounds along the lake for the little ones as well. Fantastic...
