Went in to drop off my MacBook for repairs. The new guy that checked me in was perfectly nice and polite but the guy that was training him..not so much. He kept making backhanded comments about how I didn’t make an appointment. Normally I could understand how this would be inconvenient however, according to their appointment board, the time I came in was an open slot. Before I left I was assured I’d hear back in no more than 5 days. I told them that would be acceptable, but that I was in school and I needed it back in a timely manner due to having finals for school in a little over a week. I was assured this would be no problem. I received an email with service tracking so that I could see the status of the repair. On days 5,6, and 7 when I saw no one had even been assigned to look at my laptop, I tried calling...several times! No one ever answered the phone. I couldn’t even get a store manager to answer the phone. Finally, on day 8 I went up there to pick it up and take it somewhere else, and told the employee I was unhappy it sat there over a week and no one had even looked at it. I got no apology or explanation, he just handed it back to me. I took it across the street to Graphicom and got much better customer service and was promised and diagnosis within 24-48 hours. Read moreGeek Squad dispatches a van to our house. The dispatch alone was $100.00. The individual who was suppose to fix our washing machine failed to do so. The washing machine was still loud and we were still not able to do laundry in peace. Worker did not know how to fix it. We reached out to the manager to no avail. Called back and got the name of Nicki Boudreaux who has yet to return our calls. We feel we were defrauded of $100.00.
