Metro Medspa — Attraction in Concord

**review edited 10/21/24 from 5 stars to 1: I want to sing Anna’s praises (no longer with the business). She was the only reason I continued going to this med spa. The 1 star is given due to how finances were handled after my membership ended. I was told that my membership would last 12 months and funds would automatically pull from my account monthly. My last appt was July 22 and was verbally told if I wanted to continue treatment I would be paying on a month by month basis. I looked at my account and saw I had been continually being charged $199 for 3 months. What’s the point of having a membership? I’m confused. I was told it ended. Hence why I didn’t continue treatments. Obviously if I knew $199 was still being pulled from my acct I would have continued going. So I call the store and talk to Katie, owner, and she said there is nothing they could do. Blamed me and being busy with my wedding for overlooking $600 was being taken out of my acct. Said she’d do me a favor and credit me $600 for future services but cant refund my money. Can’t cut me a personal check? No. They are stealing money from people. You need to change your contract verbiage & educate your employees. $600 is a lot of money. Fortunately I fought the charges with my bank and got reimbursed. Also, their laser is weak. I was on the highest level and once my membership was over the hair started growing back just as thick as it was.

I had a few sessions of laser hair removal done at a different spa and ended up with burns. My first consult with Anna was amazing and she is very knowledgeable, kind, and down to earth. **Latest Add-on My last review was made a while back and as much as I like this place my last treatment before the VI Peel was Morpheus8 (face and neck). I had lines on my neck after this procedure so I was given a VIPeel. I have given my neck ample time to heal and even possibly fade away but that’s not the case. I have a strip of skin in the middle of my neck that resembles chicken skin. It’s certain positions it looks worse. My neck has also gotten saggy under my chin (too much M8 there?) also the strip goes right across my thyroid. I read that’s a no no. Anyways, I don’t recommend that treatment there but I’ve had no problem with injections. It’s difficult to see the skin texture in these photos but you can definitely see the sag under my chin. It’s a bummer. 05/2024

Adding onto my review: I just want to say how great Anna and the staff at Metro Metro is. After getting a treatment that didn’t really vibe with my skin I reached back out to Anna who was quick to respond to my concerns and also with a solution. I received a VI Peel which I absolutely love. My skin feels incredible and I highly recommend. I can’t thank Anna enough for not only fitting me into her schedule but treating me with importance even after my treatment (a lot of businesses don’t do that). Thank you, Anna & Metro Team

**My nurse injector was Heather and she was so informative about what I was getting done. She went over my concerns, what my expectations were, and my options. I felt safe and comfortable in her hands. I am so pleased with my results. We agreed to go with the Restylane Lyft as the best option for what I wanted to achieve and with their membership program I saved some money! I live an hour and a half away but these ladies are worth the drive as they know exactly what they’re doing and their business is gorgeous...

I visited Metro Med Spa for the first time this evening to get injectables. I was beyond impressed! All of the staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The decor was super modern and chic. The front desk ladies were super welcoming to me and they answered all of my many questions enthusiastically. Rachel Manning, RN, BSN was my nurse injector. It was evident that she knew what she was talking about and she was very thorough in explaining everything to me which I loved. She made me feel so comfortable and she worked with me on how best to achieve the results I wanted. Together, we picked Dysport. I have had Botox many times before at different places but I have never had an experience and results like this. Rachel did a phenomenal job and I will never go to anyone else again. I am definitely a Rachel groupie now!! I signed up for the monthly membership for injectables and I am so excited about how awesome the membership is. It was such a great deal I couldn’t pass it up. I let Rachel know that I am in the process of changing my skincare routine and she came up with a routine for me to try based on my skin. My service was so personalized. I will be returning to Rachel in a few weeks to get filler for my first time and I cannot wait! I’m also going to let her know about how my new skincare routine is working and purchase some products! Everything about my experience is why I am now a Metro Med Spa lifer. I was referred here by one of my good friends and I have already told my girlfriends, sisters, and my Mom all about my experience at Metro Med Spa.
