May 5 I came in during lunch needing a table for 2. It was very slow and I expected service to be faster. We were told by the hostess that Angela would be our server, we waited 15-20 minutes before she came by and took our drink and food order. I ordered a patron margherita which tasted more like juice and lemon than anything. Our food came out within 10 minutes (which was great) and the young man that gave us our food gave us more attention than Angela did. At this point I'm looking around for her to refill my water. 15 minutes passed by and Angela still nowhere to be found I decided to water down my food with the juiced down margherita. Another 10 minutes pass by and we see her walking back and forth passing our table 3 times before asking us about the food. Fed up at this point I ask for the check. Sitting there for an hour now and the restaurant still slow it takes her 20 minutes to give us the check and then another 20 to give me my card back. There was NO reason for her to take 20 minutes to give me my card back unless she was copying my card information. SERVICE was terrible and the only great service we got was from the food runner. If your server can't handle more than 3 tables maybe management need to start reevaluating who's working for them.
That's not all.
Today May 16 we thought we would give chevys one more try because the food is excellent but service makes me, my family, co workers, and friends stay away. I walked in tonight letting the host know that I did not want to be served by Angela and so the host sat us in an area where Dalton (if thats his name?) was our server. This time again service was horrible! A guy I guess who was our server came up and was so short with us. No greeting or anything he came up to the table and said "what do you want to drink", "what do you want to order" and that was our whole conversation with him. The only reason we knew his name was because of the host. He was so unhappy the whole time and a server working in the same area was more attentive, friendly, and acknowledged all his guests. I am not coming out to eat to be served by someone who doesn't want us there. He was not welcoming at all the only great thing out of today's experience was the food runner and a nearby server.
If I could rate this place a half star I would. The only great thing about this place is the food. If anyone is looking for an outstanding Mexican restaurant try Tequilas off jeffco and mermac bottom where the service is excellent and the food is a lot more fresh and hot.
I hope the servers and management steps it up with their customer service because you're losing lots and lots...
Read moreMost of our tennis team, 7 of us, stopped in here after our match. We were not pleased.
We arrived at 2:25 pm and the place was practically empty. Orders were taken at 2:35. We know because we confirmed with the waitress that we still had 25 minutes before the lunch menu expired for the day. We ordered drinks and food at the same time. We thought it was taking a long time for our drinks to arrive and it became a topic of conversation. They finally showed up just after 3.
Food took even longer. That didn't arrive until 3:30. One of our group had to request to-go box immediately because they had to leave for another match. Another had the wrong salad brought out. It had steak instead of chicken. That was sent back. When it returned (and that's the correct term) it was clear the kitchen has scraped out the steak and thrown on some chicken. There was still some steak in it. Not acceptable if your religion forbids the eating of beef. It was sent back and that person simply skipped her meal. Trust had been broken.
The food itself was okay, but the experience was not. We crossed it off our list of post-match eating establishments.
Edit: Requested Info I hesitate to provide the info you request because I have to trust that you will use it to take corrective, rather than punitive, action. There weren't that many patrons at the time I mentioned and I'm sure your staff would remember a group of women mostly dressed in tennis garb. Nevertheless, here is what you requested.
This was, indeed, on May 1, 2019. Check number is 3806. Interestingly, I mentioned this to a work colleague today and she described the similar experiences with speed of service. She lives near you and has been disappointed of late when eating there. Too slow. She has no plans to return. From what I've seen and heard, including other recent reviews, this is systemic and endemic.
There you have it. Please take corrective action. I'm trusting that you'll use this information to that end. Please don't break my...
Read moreHorrible. Just stopped in for lunch, I ordered a enchilada bowl. Wife ordered a quesadilla and Cobb salad. Daughters ordered a kids taco meal. Enchilada tasted funky I could not try more than two bites, rice was half cooked. Quesadilla was all dark meat chicken and too sweet. She did not like the salad either. Kids taco had a huge pile of greasy meat, making a mess when she tried to eat it. We sat at the table for awhile with both our plates full sitting at the edge of the table, thinking the waitress would stop by asking about the meal. When she finally came over she asked if I wanted a refill, I said yes please then tried to ask for a menu to try something else but was ignored as she walked away. Over 10 min later we got up and was tired of being there and wanted to leave. Then after we got up, waitress finally came by to give me a refill, she said are you ready for your ticket, I said yes then we have to find some place else to eat, we are all hungry but did not like the food that is why there has been full plates of food sitting on the edge of the table for over 20 minutes. She said sorry gave me the bill. Paid in full, now we are looking for somewhere else to eat. Tea was good but one glass ended up costing over $30...
