St. Louis Bread Co. — Restaurant in Concord

On this Fine Friday morning, I decided to go pick up a bagel around 8:10. There were two managers and three employees working very diligently to the constant rising of orders being placed. Thanks to the crazy worker shortage, I waited nearly half an hour for my toasted cinnamon crunch bagel. But I can’t be mad at the management or workers. There was no idling, all were working at lightening speed. The male manager was calling out orders as they were prepared. Imagine my surprise when the manager called out “Bueller” to which of course no one stepped up to own up to their clownish prank.

In normal times, this would be amusing to all and maybe even a laugh would escape from the lips of the unsuspecting Panera employee… but alas these are not normal times. The over worked manager only looked at the breakfast that he had labored so hard to prepare only to find the joke be on him. He gave a resignation sigh , set the parcel down and continued onward as cheerful as one can be in such strife conditions.

Like wow. I would have not have blamed him if he would have let loose like a cannon. But he stayed composed, professional and cheerful and promptly went to preparing the next order.

To an overworked managers and workers of the Friday morning Rush of September 24, I wasn’t able to thank you properly you were plenty busy with orders and clowns. Thank you, my cinnamon crunch bagel...

I placed an order for delivery through their website at 7:45am, but by 9:00am it still hadn't arrived. I called the store to ask why it had taken so long and come to find out, the doordash driver that showed up got angry that he would have to wait 2 more minutes for our order to be ready so he got angry with them and just left. Another doordash driver was assigned to our delivery, but never showed. After this mistake they took the initiative to contact doordash, explain what happened, and get someone to deliver our order ASAP. They ended up not charging us for our order, remade our order fresh, still gave us our previous order that was made (which was easily heated up in the microwave and just as good) as well as added some cookies to our order as a courtesy. I was VERY thankful for this extra step on their part as technically none of this was their fault, it was an issue with doordash....

Ordered online (order was supposed be done at 4:30 got there at 4:29) when I got there order was not ready, after informing someone that my order was not on the shelf 5 minutes after I got an your order is ready notification , they told me to go check again as if I did not just tell them that it was not there.After I confirmed for the second time my order was not on the shelf where other online orders were, the person who told me to go check again stated that they had already made the order and they don’t know where it was at. After I had them re-make my order (2 kids meals one with mac and cheese and the other one a broccoli cheddar soup both with a baguette) when I got home the broccoli cheddar soup had pasta in it and was not even warm same thing with the mac and cheese, not to mention there was a random guy who was not apart of the staff...
