Nesting — Local services in Concord

Today, I went back to 'Nesting' so I could see the store in full summer display. Last winter, I visited 'Nesting' for the first time and saw the store in holiday mode.

It was lovely to walk through the store and see summer dresses, shiny seashells, silver trinkets, one-of-a-kind cards, books, scented candles, and everything summer.

I walked away with a couple of pearl shaped hearts, sweet books about our love for dogs and cats, and a couple of those one-of-a-kind cards that I will send to friends at a later date.

Any time of the year, go to 'Nesting' and treat yourself to rooms full of imagination, wonder, and beauty. Today, I visited a unique store in Concord, MA, known as 'Nesting.' It was my first time going into this store; I had read that they might carry a particular lip butter tube that I wanted to buy as holiday gifts for friends. Upon going up the stairs and through the door, I entered a magical world of holiday delights that appealed to my senses of sight, sound, and touch.

I entered bright, well-lit rooms that displayed beautiful items that were easy to see, well-labeled, and fun to pick up, and touch. I was left alone to guide myself around the store, not bothered or hurried into buying anything. It was a lovely adventure to just wander around and see all of the surprising merchandise nestled into every square inch of the store. Positive energy in the store was apparent, not only to me, but to those that were browsing in the store around me. Sounds of laughter and happy conversation were abundant.

The woman behind the counter could not have been nicer, personally taking me over to the lip butter tubes, to show me what they did have in the store. Even though the store did not carry the brand that I went in for, I liked what I saw, bought them, and other treasures that one finds when exploring a new environment.

If you are looking for joy this holiday season, take a trip to 'Nesting'; your senses will thank you. You may find that you have a smile on your face as you descend the stairs down to street level. I look forward to returning to 'Nesting' to see what exceptional items they will be offering in...

Located up a wood staircase the entrance is a gateway that moves you into a whimsical world of artisan treasures. There is something for everyone in here, seriously— I’m not kidding.

The inventory of items range from jewelry, to hand made books, clothing, to soap. The way the store is designed makes you want to explore every space and I feel like I find something new every time I go in to look around.

This is a wonderful place to find gifts for people that they will actually want.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Best of all they give you space to explore. I think exploring Nesting is part of the charm.

Something about getting something from the store feels special. Maybe it’s the items, or you have to find the place, it’s fun and I believe it’s one of the best stores in Concord.

Lovely little shop! So much to see & explore- the displays + items transport you into another world. Enjoyed shopping here in the past & left with some gorgeous linen pants, journal, essential oil roller, glass enclosed matches, stones, etc. Today the lady running the shop was a bit rude & we ended up leaving without making a purchase.
