Bayshore Paintball — Attraction in Port Charlotte

I've recently got back into paintball and also introducing my 2 boys to paintball. I've been going to Bayshore Paintball for a couple of months now and have only good experiences. Owner is out going to everyone who come to his field. Rental equipment is well maintained and chronographing of rentals is kept up. I played paintball for years and I've been to alot of fields all over the state. Bayshore ranks right up there with those fields when is comes to safety of players and equipment maintenance. In the 2 months of playing at paintball I've never seen any players wiping paint or any cheating for that fact. My 2 boys love going and always have a blast. Really great group of folks to play today, had about 20 people out on their open walk up Sunday play from 10-5pm.l despite the heat on a balmy August afternoon. The owner Jim is super nice and wants everyone to have a great time. They have one field to play on that is wooded and shady but pretty open so it plays quickly and allows for movement between bunkers and keeps the game from being too campy. It was $35 for entry, air and 500 paintballs and a case of paint was an additional $45 which is reasonable. Air fills are from scuba tanks so you don't quite a full fill at the end of the day but you'll only run a hopper and 2 pods a game at the most on a typical game so it didn't matter. If I could give 10/5 stars I would. Visited Bayshore Paintball with a birthday group, with many first timers. I can safely say everyone of us had an incredibly fun time. The owner James was very knowledgeable, and a great coach, taking time to remember all of our names. He was excellent with giving reassurance and advice between games, and making sure everyone was having fun, and enjoying their time. The play field was shaded, and had several well made bunkers, and blinds for cover. James and co referee Jackie had plenty of different play modes to keep every game interesting.
