This little park is nice. Very dogfriendly. It has poop stations. I love the boardwalk and enjoyed seeing the ducks and geese. I bet it is much nicer in the Spring and Summer. Right now, the plants look dead, being Fall/Winter season. The walk is about 1/2 mile around. There is no parking lot but there is a little area that will accommodate about 4-5 cars. You could park in the Harris Teeter shopping center across the street and walk over. The road has minimum traffic, safe to walk across. The trail is all broadwalks and tar so very to walk if looking for and easy or handicapped friendly trail. Its a good place to bring children and dogs too. They have benches throughout the trail is you want to rest or they would also be a good place to...

There are a few places on the path that have park benches where you can stop to admire the view and soak in the sun. You need to check out the wooden promontory, which provides the best view of the pond, and -- if you're lucky -- the...
