Campbells Frozen Custard — Attraction in Dale City

My family has been coming here for the past few seasons. The owners are great. When we first came when they opened in stonebridge, a single scoop was a nice size - I remember being told on multiple occasions their sizes are like the next size up from their competitors. A two scoop serving was a good amount of custard, and their custards are very good. Fast forward to the new 2025 season, and maybe it was because it was run by teens, but the servings were very small. If you get the cake cups, they don't push any custard in them, and still it looked (and was) small. While eating ours today, two of us had cake cones that literally crumbled apart before we could push any custard into them ourselves. This made a mess and any enjoyment was over. Maybe they were running low today, but the custard (the almond al-akbar) melted crazy fast. Maybe that's why the cones crumbled, or maybe they got them from a different source this year. Unacceptable Service and Lack of Accountability at Campbell Frozen Custard (Woodbridge, Virginia. Stonebridge Shopping Center-Suite 105)

I am writing to express my terrible experience and poor customer service that I had at your Woodbridge location (Suite 105) at approximately 9:00pm on August 16, 2025.

In addition to the rude and unprofessional behavior of two young women working at the counter, a serious issue of accountability arose. When I requested to speak with a supervisor or get their name, the employees did not want to provide their names or the name of a supervisor.

This refusal to provide a supervisor's name and their dismissive attitude are completely unacceptable. It shows a complete lack of accountability and a disregard for proper customer service protocols.

This situation needs to be addressed immediately. I would like a prompt response regarding this matter and a plan for how you will handle this kind of behavior in the future.

When we walked in there was only one customer but three employees. None of them acknowledged us and I asked if they have anything dairy-free the girl at the cash register said no. Then the one customer said oh they have Italian ice so I went to the side where the ice freezer is and still Noone cared to serve then I asked is it self service or something then one person said you have to order here then I went back the cashier to order the Italian ice.
