Pastor Jake has helped me out so much since my husband passed away. Has helped me figure out how to rebuild all the brokenness and gave me encouragement that one day my boys and I will feel happiness again. What I enjoy the most about his counseling is he gives me encouraging words from the Bible. I am thankful he reached out to us while my husband was in hospice care. I would recommend anyone who has a major life changing experience and are having a difficult time figuring out how to get life back on the right path to reach out to Pastor Jake. The people make everyone feel at home. I have been a member here most of my adult life. I was raised in the Baptist Church as my father was a Baptist minister, I know what I believe and why I believe what I do. We have a very fine pastor and pastoral staff.. if ever you are sick someone from the pastoral staff is there to check to see how you are doing. I moved to Canton and immediately started looking for a new church. I picked this because it was very close . When I arrived I was treated so poorly that I didn't go back . These are very judgemental middle class suburbanites . I haven't been back to a church since because I assume all christians in Canton are this mean and hateful. But I should have known better.
