The Farmers Market is open in theory from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The reality is that most of the vendors are open by 8:30 a.m. and a lot of them sell out by 12:30. This is particularly true for strawberries and corn. Beginning in late Spring, thru Summer and into Fall, there's a wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, plus seafood, baked goods, and a fresh flower stand. The rest of the year it's primarily fresh vegetables and food truck style vendors altho there is always some type of fruit available. Occasionally there are specialty items: small plants, handmade soaps, ceramics, etc.--although not all of the specialty items are there every weekend.
