Quickly Castro Valley — Restaurant in Castro Valley

Ok beverages. Teas are too watered down. Snow on their menu should be listed blended drinks, not snow. Snow is thinly shaved icy ice cream. We ordered snow, got blended ice drink. Coconut snow is good. Other snows are not. Drinks are powder mixes. The mochi waffles are hits and misses. The are too small at times, we ordered by 4-6 at a time. Visited multiple days in the week. One day the waffles was really small. They also need to set a time on the waffles, some every time there at least 2 burnt waffles. Cashiers ok. Some can really use some customer service. One occasion the cashier just stand there playing with her hair while talking to her friends. I was worried the place wouldn’t be opened on Thanksgiving day. I decided to call the restaurant and there was an immediate response from a sweet lady on the phone. I believe she is the same one who took my order. I asked her what she’d recommend and she told me all the favorites people buy and was overall very kind. I ended up buying the crème brûlée with Thai tea and extra added boba costing me like 6.25. She recommended me this drink and it tasted absolutely amazing. I don’t get the negative reviews, place is cheaper than other boba places, there are a variety of flavors, and the person working is nice. Went there to order they never said or any signs that say they don’t take cash at all so I’m trying to order but they were being very rude not trying to communicate with me to let me know.. anyways I had a friend end up purchasing for me with their card as I’m waiting I realized they had my items ready and off the side while they were giving other customers their orders which I thought was very rude so I ended up saying something to get my items which is ridiculous and I have never had to experience this type of customer service especially when I work in it myself I just though it was very rude and to mention they didn’t cook the food well done enough for me.
