Chesterfield County Farmers Market — Attraction in Chester

I haven’t been, but would love to come visit and leave a review about my experience. However, their hours say 11-2PM on Wednesdays. Who are you catering to with these hours? Most people work during the week during those hours.

I understand that supplies may be limited and the current hours may be more convenient for the vendors but maybe show some consideration for the potentially hundreds of potential patrons who would love to come but can’t because of the limited hours of operation.

One day a week on a Saturday or Sunday would give so many working class people the opportunity to come and purchase from their local farmers and small businesses. And not just whoever you’re catering to now that can come during the 3 hours you’re open...

Really disappointed. I'm a resident of Chesterfield, yet I have to drive to other farmer's markets because of a lack of actual produce and other things you'd typically find at a farmer's market. Instead, it has turned into a flea market...selling items that are not homemade, even t-shirts that have political and social agendas! Let's get back to what a farmer's...

Loved that vendors accept SNAP/EBT here, that makes way too much sense. I missed the folks who sell duck eggs, they didn't make an appearance this time. Picked up some greens and fruit though. Only wish there wasn't such a heavy police presence. It'd be nice to buy my produce in peace without seeing armor and deadly weapons every which way. Talk about a...
