This was our first time ordering from Chan's. We wanted to start small just to test the waters a bit. We ordered Beef Szechuan Style, pork fried rice, and fried pork dumplings. I am very pleased to report that we found everything to be delicious! Not only that, but our order was ready very quickly, the prices are fair, and the serving sizes are definitely on the bigger side.

The fried pork dumplings are probably the best I've had in the area. They have a lot of great flavor, and they're stuffed pretty full. The only not-great thing about them was they were rather soggy by the time we got them home, but this is pretty typical of a lot of take-out food. There's certainly not much Chan's could do to avoid this.

The pork fried rice is excellent. The veggies are nice and crisp, and the overall flavor is bold enough for us to know that it's pork (as opposed to veggie, chicken, etc) fried rice all while being light enough to not overpower anything else you may be eating.

Lastly, the Szechuan beef is really good. So far the beef appears to be a good cut of meat. I haven't encountered any inedibly fatty/gristly pieces, nor have I encountered any tough/dry pieces. Each tasty morsel is tender and packed with flavor. As with the fried rice, the veggies are crisp and taste fantastic. I was hoping for a bit more heat, but that seems to be the story of my life at any location (I am told I have an abnormally high tolerance for spice).

All in all, I consider this to be a great success. I believe we will be ordering from Chan's again when we have such...

My family (husband, parents, and a few friends included) have ordered from Chan's Chinese restaurant on numerous occasions (more than 20). With the exception of General Tso's Chicken (peculiar taste, ordered it 3 different times) everything we have ordered has been on par with other local take out Chinese places. The variety of items and the addition of some Thai dishes makes Chan's a best pick though. One of the best features is that Chan's delivers to us! This was so exciting since in Chesterfield the only other delivery options are the pizza chains, (boring and expensive!).

On Chinese New Year the sweet delivery guy even brought is a good luck charm (very cool!).

The food is thoroughly cooked and hot when it arrives. IT has always been on time (35 min or less) with one rare exception, about and hour, (and they brought us 2 free 2 liter sodas to apologize)

All in all I recommend Chan's for good...

This is a fantastic find!! Not sure about the bad review(s) here, maybe they have changed something? I just ordered for the first time, last week, and came back for 4 more orders: all dishes were great! #30 on the dinner menu, shrimp and veggies: OMG! I think they put 1 lb. of shrimp in there! Mid-large sizes too: I kept finding more and more. The veggies are crispy and fresh tasting. Not too much salt either. We also ordered Chicken Panang - dinner: HUGE container!! Good for at least 2 people or more, if you eat little! Rice is cooked to perfection too. Their beef fried rice is probably one of the best. They also deliver (not sure how far) for only $2 more. No eat in, needs to order and pick up. Super fast and friendly too. We used to drive far away to get better Thai/Chinese foods: no longer!! This is a great deal. And oh, lunch menu is incredibly cheap too - cheaper than junkie McDonalds! Comes with soup and/or...
