disregard their website prices since they don’t go by them anyway! Their manicure is $18 and pedicure is $32 but for the Mani Pedi bundle on their site it’s advertised for $45.
I thought pretty pricey but since I’m staying at a hotel nearby I would try it out because I was in desperate need of both a Mani & Pedi.
Well I called to make an appointment, I get there and all nail technicians are busy. They put me in a chair and told me 5 minutes. 12 minutes went by and one of the women finally finished up a client and came over to me.
The first woman who put me in the chair asked what services I was there for and told her BASIC Manicure & BASIC Pedicure. When the woman came over to do my nails she tried handing me a menu and asked which type of pedicure I would like, which I replied just a basic pedicure.
She started doing her thing and felt the bottom of my heel and didn’t say a word. She finished cutting my toenails and cutting the cuticles and took another look at the bottom of my heels. She then said “you need the callus removal service.”
I don’t have calluses on my feet! Never had. I just had a bit of dry skin and it wasn’t even cracking! So I refused and replied “no thanks. I wasn’t trying to spend more than $45, which the website says.” She snapped back “its $50.” So I asked if callus removal was extra and she said yes so I told her no thank you.
After painting my nails she brought me over to get the manicure but I hit my toe just a little and she was telling me how I messed it up and it was soo perfect. (It wasn’t, there was paint all over my skin lol)
Anyway fast forward through the mani and I never felt so judged in my life. Telling me I had messed up cuticles and asking if I needed my eyebrows done. Umm if I was charged correctly for the bundle I would’ve considered my eyebrows but she was snarky and rude.
Whatever I’m only in town for the night but I would love to warn others to make sure you VERIFY the price you got from their site before...
Read moreMy first experience at this place was ok. My husband and I got a pedicure. The lady who did my nails, I think her name was Sandy, unsure, anyway she was very pleasant and nice. There is one guy there and did not get a good vibe from him at all. Just the way he would stare, no smile nothing but the other ladies were nice so it’s ok. I made an appt for 2 weeks. I came in the second time alone, earlier than my appt and asked the same guy could I come in earlier than my appt. he looked at me up and down, looked back at the salon and turned and said, “ no, we are busy”. I am ok with that because I understand they may not have a time slot, however he was just nasty, his disposition was not nice and although they do nice nails and the place is nice inside, I will never go back. Professionalism and customer service goes a long way for me. Anyway, they do nails ok, if you don’t mind the negative energy from that man and poor customer service in the place. (Maybe it was just me). And to be honest, I don’t think they will mind me not coming back. That is...
Read moreWent there for a pedicure, was a walk in so did not have much of a choice. Even though I sat at the pedicure seat no one filled water for a bit, not even as a courtesy, they all had terrible attitude. I have had salons soaking feet during wait times. I got an elderly lady ( who mentioned her name was Kim when asked) to do my pedicure. Initially I went in for both mani and pedi but chose to end service after pedi. She charged extra for callouses because I had obvious callous, to only remove callouses for less than 10 secs each feet until I demanded she do it properly. My feet for overall pedicure were soaked in water for definitely no more than 5 minutes. She was rushing me. The scrub and moisturizer were slathered and rubbed half enthusiastically for a couple of minutes each - no massage was done. Basically fastest and worst pedicure I got in my lifetime. I think it was her lunch time and she rushed me off. I would like to give them the benefit of doubt as one of the ladies across me did a perfect job for...
