We adopted Chewy in August 2020 @ 18 months old. She was a surrender at the Omaha Humane Society. We were only one applicant in 72 applicants, we got the call it was instant knowing she was perfect for us. And I think she also knew that we were hers. What we learned from the surrender paperwork was that she came from a family with 3 young children, 2 other dogs, 2 cats, mom, dad & COVID. September we joined friends at Pint Nine micro brewery who allowed dogs in. We noticed a lot of dogs coming and going at the other end of the strip mall. It was Park Your Pawz. I knew from Chewys past that she needed to be with other dogs. She fit right in and loved it. It was shortly bought by DOGTOPIA and it’s been perfect for Chewy. She goes half days, once a week, every Wednesday and then down to Pint Nine for socializing. I love the staff, the webcam TV. It’s important to watch Chewy interact with the other dogs. If I have a question I can email, the staff get right back with me. I am so happy with the care she gets from the staff. She loves the attention she gets from the staff. I tell everyone I know and run into at Pint Nine about the staff and facilities at DOGTOPIA. I could not be happier, thank you.

I called in to get my toy poodle a grooming. The receptionist there booked me with the person who said does ā€œgreatā€ on poodles. Look at this picture for reference this is just his body. His face and the rest of his body is even worse. I paid about 100 dollars for my poodles grooming and I was not satisfied with how they gave him back to me. He has uneven cuts all over his body and then the cut that I asked for they did not do. I’m so disappointed, this is my first time here and I will never be coming back. I hope someone from here can get back to me and at least give me half of my money back.

I hate leaving our dog anywhere, but I am able to relax leaving our pup here for daycare and boarding. I am able to feel comfortable, knowing she is being taken care of. Recently, I found out our dog was having a rough day and didn't want to go back to the play area. A staff member let her hang out and take a nap by the front desk until she was ready to go back and play later in the day. I love knowing that the staff cares enough to do something like that.

My experience at Dogtopia seems to go against the grain, given the other reviews I’ve observed. In fact, all of the terrific reviews are The primary reason behind it choosing Dogtopia at all...

So, I’ll start by saying that my dog is 12 years old, and I have bathed him myself on countless occasions, as well as had numerous different companies all over the country, bathe him repeatedly over the years. That being said, I know what he looks like and what his coat feels like, after he has been bathed. I also know the level of difficulty associated with this task. My dog has a very thick coat, and in order to do a good job, even for a professional, it’s going to take at least 20 to 25 minutes, even for a rush job. Air drying takes all day… And with a forced air dryer, it’s still going to take about an hour.

With all of that information out in the open… My wife dropped my dog off to be bathed at noon, and Dogtopia called her to come and pick him up 30 minutes later. She had only been home from the drop off for 10 minutes. This is completely unheard of. I was on my lunch break, when my wife told me about this. I called Dogtopia to confirm the situation, and I was reassured by a male team member that in fact it did only take 30 minutes to take care of my dog. My dog has a pure white coat with some black dots. If he isn’t bathed for a couple of weeks, it begins to take on a slight yellowish hue. After a bath, the yellow is gone. His fur is also much more puffed out. The puffy effect will last a couple of days at least. When I got home from work a few hours later, my dog was still yellow, and his fur was laying down. He did smell nice, however, there are perfumes made specifically for dogs.

The gist of the story is, there’s no way that anyone could have bathed and dried my dog in 30 minutes. Even if they did the least detail-oriented job of it, ever. I’m very certain that the team at Dogtopia just sprayed some perfume on him, called us up, and said that he was good to go. I’m disgusted, and will never go there again. Dogtopia stole my money, and I don’t think that it is wise for anyone to go there, ever. If they are willing to deceive their customers in such away, who knows what else they might do with...

I used this facility many times over the past year Horrible experience !!! I would highly suggest refraining from using them due to convenience prices off Groupon or in general. I have 2 dogs that I often would bring here staff always seemed nice and attentive to my dogs. I even had a few conversations with the owner who seemed very nice. Unfortunately this week I after many weeks brought my dogs in for doggie daycare one being 5 months old I like for the two to be together later that day I called the facility to check on the youngest I was told that while in the large dog playroom and because my pup likes to play an older dog got annoyed and snapped at him but he was fine he just had a scratch I was informed that my dogs were taken to the medium size dog pen which they should of been in the first place.. I went to pick up my dogs after work and I saw a spot on my pups head but I was in a hurry and he was excited therefore not paying close attention When I got home I realized the mark in his head was a puncture wound from the tooth of the dog that snapped at him and had swollen up double on his head mind you no one called me about this and they continued to allow him to play with a head injury all day. I called and spoke to some teenager that said she was a manager she used some excuse that they have 20 dogs and they had a contract. They failed to call me ending my dog up at the vet getting his wound drained s d X-rays. The owner never called me to even discuss their procedures or a incident report type of dog shot records she avoided me. With that said please do not use this place they also do not have cameras therefore making it convenient to get out of recorded dog play there are places that put more emphasis on the Customer satisfaction and procedure when incidences Like this take place and showing concern she did none...

My dog went here for a couple months and all seemed ok. I watched the dogs play on the webcams ( when they worked, most of the time they are offline) and the dogs seemed to be having fun. The employees don’t seem to interact with the dogs at all and just wander around back and forth. Occasionally with a mop to clean up messes. I watched one time for 20 minutes straight and did not see the employee even acknowledge any dog even when they would come up to her for attention. She’d actually turn away from them intentionally and not because they were acting bad, they just wanted pets.

My dog would come home very tired. I get that. He plays hard. But he also would come home smelling HORRIBLY like he was lying in pee all day. It was so bad he had to have a bath after each visit. Then my other dog ( who doesn’t go to daycare) started getting a bad cough. Then my dog who did attend got the same cough. Which turned into vomiting and diarrhea and an emergency vet visit. $700+ later I was able to take him home. He almost died as he was so dehydrated.

I miss being able to take him there as he loved it but his life isn’t worth the risk. Dogtopia needs a major deep clean and better flooring. I know for a fact they mop the floor after the dogs pee and poop with dirty mop water. Which the dogs likely lick because they are dogs and don’t know any better. They make enough money to put down turf and to use better cleaning solutions and processes. The dogs shouldn’t come home so smelly and mine isn’t the only one. I’ve heard many horror stories of this location and I’m afraid it’ll take someone losing their poor pet for them to...
