Sprinkle Joy — Restaurant in La Vista

The custard was delicious! We came specifically so my boyfriend could try the dairy-free custard. He’s been lactose intolerant for about 8 years now, and he said it was the best ice cream/custard he’s had since that discovery! Mine was also delicious and very overflowing, so I basically got 2 custards for the price of 1 just with mine.

My one unfortunate thing with my visit was the staff. We walked in and we weren’t greeted, and while we were standing there, a family walked in and they were immediately greeted and told they could come order. Meanwhile, no one had said anything to us at all. We ended up ordering and she still wasn’t super friendly with us. I don’t know if maybe we didn’t fit the description of their preferred customer (average mid-20s couple), but that was disappointing considering I’ve been looking forward to coming here since dairy-free options were announced. We’ll give it another chance since it’s near my work, but hopefully that improves!

Went there for the first time tonight. The guy was not nice. I had to stand there for aittle bit before he even said hi to me because there was no signage on where to order. He was also doing other things while the girl was making all the custards. They had multiple people waiting. I was waiting for my custard for over 15 minutes and looks like everyone else was too. When I got my custard mixer it was not mixed all the way and had way too many...

Overall, my experience at Sprinkle Joy was fine. The staff was great. My only complaint is that the amount of caramel I received on my caramel and pecan sundae was pathetic. It was literally a drizzle. And, the caramel was grainy, but tasty. Perhaps just a bit more equity in topping amount and custard amount. And if the caramel is homemade, make sure the sugar is dissolved....
