Updated Review: For the longest time I would repeatedly give this Culver's location a 5 star rating, but over the last few months it's been between a 2 and 3 star experience. We love the food so will continue to come here, it's just the service seems to have gone down hill. I've stopped going through the Drive-Thru because my orders have mistakes about 90% of the time so I would have to park and go inside anyway to get it corrected. My most recent order wasn't any different. They crammed everything into two overstuffed bags and barely wrapped the burgers thrown in. By the time I got to the car one if the bags tore all the way down the side and spilled onto my car seat. I had to go back inside and ask for a new bag, which on itself seemed to be a task for the employees as 3 employees stood there staring and pointing at me telling each other if they should ask if I need help. I don't know what changed, if it's the employees, the training or the management, it just seems like they don't care about customer service anymore. I know I'll still go to Culver's because we like the food, but probably not as often and most likely not the La Vista location anymore. Update 4-22-22: Bumping it up to 3 stars solely based on the service provided by the Culver's team member Drew. He was keeping the whole restaurant going tonight. Filling all the orders, both in the lobby and the drive thru, and also helping all the customers in the lobby with questions or asking for help with something. The fact that we witnessed several other employees just standing around doing nothing the whole time we were there and Drew doing everything really upset us and just reinforced our feeling that Culver's has dropped the ball in its operation over the past few years. I mean 3 people to work the drive-thru window doesn't make sense, 1 for order taking, 1 to fill drinks and the other to make the occasional ice cream??? Read moreI Waited in line in the drivel through for 15min & there were only four cars ahead of me in line. I ordered a pork tenderloin basket with fries, diet coke & a strawberry malt. It took 8min to get to the window where I paid and got an order number & no drinks. So I pulled a head, waited 10min. Other cars got there orders & left even though I was first I line. I Waited & finally received my order but no diet coke or strawberry malt, I told the kid I didn't receive the diet peps or strawberry malt. He said that he would get my drink, &be right out I was still in line. I Waited another 10min, then called the store. They said they would be right outI watid 6min, they came out with my drink & malt. I told the manager that this was the poorest service that I have ever had, she said that the first kid that gave me the food had just punched out with out telling any person that I never received my drink & malt. Read moreThe staff at this location is awesome! You can tell they're working hard while trying to be friendly to everyone. The cheese curds are some of the best anywhere... outside of Wisconsin! Try the cod sandwich! It will impress you. You'll forget eating fast food!
Always save room for frozen custard! It's SO smooth & yummy! If you like to top yours with fruit, they have REAL fruit, not just artificial syrups! My 2 favorite sundaes both start with vanilla custard. I top it with either peaches & (salted or hot) caramel OR raspberries & peaches! 🤩
If you want to be adventurous, try the flavor of the day. We like to go online & check what it is at all 3 locations closest to us. The LaVista location tends to have some kind of chocolate flavor more days than not. And you can get pints from previous days & get a nice discount if you buy 4.
