This is a good place for families that have their kids in swimming and adults that consider a 30 min walk around the track a work out. If you’re in it for the weight training it’s definitely a pain.
Pros: -hours of operations are reasonable -front desk staff is friendly -an indoor track for those that don’t like running on machines -equipment is clean and the staff is constantly walking around cleaning and resetting equipment -price is reasonable compared to other centers in the area
Cons: -cable machine area is crammed -literally one mirror in the entire place -trying to run the track at peak hours is a complete nightmare. The track will be full of walkers taking up every lane while treadmills aren’t in use...and they won’t get out of your way. -this is an after school hang out spot and if you’re there on days school is closed or for the next 4 hrs after HS gets out you have to deal with groups of 4-5 boys around each machine, doing a little bit of working out and a lot of talking and taking selfies. Then you also have the teenage girls wearing questionable work out clothes walking around for 4 hours being obnoxious and loud begging for attention. How do I know its 4 hrs? Me and hubs tag each other out for the gym and we encountered the same girls -group training takes place in the middle of the weight areas during peak times. Really?! If not it takes place in the one area big enough to lay out a mat to stretch without having to touch the stranger next to you.. -yes only one reasonable place for stretching -the showers are always dirty with hair, including public hair. There is only 3 showers(one being the handicap) in the women’s locker room with even floors, otherwise the water runs straight out of the shower onto your shoes and the general area. The cleaning lady always seems to be changing the paper towels the 30 mins Im in the shower area, never cleaning the showers. -The only way to access the pool is through the locker room. Kids usually walk through with their parents regardless of their gender. Result? Little girls walking through the men’s locker room with naked men walking around. NOT OKAY -Locker room benches and floors are soaked after swim meets
All in all if you stay away from this place during peak hours it works, except you’ll still have hair in...
Read moreI am writing to provide feedback about the service of your staff during the volleyball activity every time. Unfortunately, I have to report that some of the staff members have demonstrated irresponsible behavior towards the patrons. Specifically, there have been instances where staff members have not monitored the activities inside the gym, resulting in hazardous behavior by some patrons on the court side while games are in progress. This is unacceptable and poses a danger to the players and other patrons.
Furthermore, I have noticed that the staff members are not proactive in taking charge of the activities inside the gym. For instance, during the volleyball games, the staff members were setting up nets for badminton for the next morning, scrambled all the equipment at the corner of the volleyball court, and on the court itself. This is disruptive to the games and shows a lack of consideration for the patrons who have paid to use the facility.
Lastly, after every game, patrons are required to go and inform the staff members who are sitting outside that the games are done, instead of the staff members being proactive and taking charge of the activities inside. This is a waste of time and effort for the patrons and further highlights the lack of professionalism and responsibility of some of your staff members.
In addition, I kindly request that you change the age requirement for the volleyball activity to 18+ either on Saturday or Monday. Patrons under 18 already have two hours earlier than the regular scheduled time, and this change would definitely cut the number of teams in half, resulting in more play time for adults.
I hope that you take this feedback seriously and take steps to address these issues promptly. I believe that a well-managed and professional staff is crucial to the success of any recreational facility, and I look forward to seeing improvements in this regard.
Thank you for your attention to...
Read moreOk so let me get this straight. This is going to be kinda long. So get your reading glasses or whatever, get some food, and begin reading. Yea the equipment is good and the space is big. But here comes the rant. So say you want to go exercise, and you bring your child with you. There is no place to put your child. Unless your child wants to sit on the floor or stand, there is really not much to do for them. The child care (which is coming out in June) is most likely gonna be for 8 and under. What about the 9-11 kids. They can’t go to the pool by their self or walk the track upstairs. And if you are aged 11-15 you have to have supervision. Not that fun. There isn’t even music playing. Now the pool. The one with the most problems. The slide is slow, and it looks fun but it’s fooling you. The “lazy river” isn’t fun at all. The whirlpool is ok. Could be faster. The pool is small and the kiddie one is very small. There are no fountains exept for the 3 at the front. We should have a little more. The jacuzzi water is warm and the jets are barely warm. And you have to be 16 and older to go in it. The competition pool is actually dumb. So if you are wearing a life jacket, you have to touch the pool floor. LIFE JACKETS ARE FOR WHEN YOU CANT TOUCH THE POOL FLOOR. And when your child is in the 4’3” area you have to be in with them. What if you have health problems, but your child wants to have fun. Then what. In conclusion, this multipurpose center is stupid. The free days they were lenient with the rules. Now, they have gone over board. This is my...
