The Manhattan Pizza on South Riding has the most unusual business plan. They are not happy when something goes wrong with your delivery (like feta cheese being omitted from 2 gyro salads) and you call to see if they could bring some. The response time to bring the missing and all important ingredient took over an hour and took an additional follow up phone call. When the manager on duty arrived she was disrespectful even though I had been polite during both phone calls. By the time she brought the feta the salads had been eaten so I asked for a refund and was refunded for the cost of one of the salads which I agreed to since we had eaten the salads without the feta. The next time I ordered the same salad for delivery and tried to use my credit they wanted to charge ANOTHER delivery fee, even though it had been their error in the first place. Anyway, from then on I have been unable to order online or by phone as my phone number and address has been blocked. Not a good business plan when you have a regulas, happy customer who had one bad experience and you decide to black-ball me. I now buy my Manhattan Pizza from the Ashburn store and find they are much more friendly and welcoming. I am not the only person I have heard of who has been black-balled by Manhattan in South Riding. Funny thing is the owner won't return my phone calls either (guess he...
   Read moreGreetings,
The following has been my experience with Manhattan Pizza of South Riding, Aldie, VA:
I have two points of contention: their quality and customer service:
• Quality: to begin, the first time we ordered, their pizza was great (pickup). However, as time went on, their quality became inconsistent and did not measure up against the initial pizzas we had ordered (near sloppiness). • Customer Service: during a different order (delivery), the order came two hours late. The female representative at the store apologized for being late (2 hours) and said the next similar order would be free. o Follow-up: I recently called Manhattan Pizza of South Riding, Aldie and asked if we can proceed with the indicated free order. The representative and manager both mulled over my request and mentioned there are no relatable notes in their system about my “free order”. I described my past experience with them and again they refused to accept my request. However, their note and my order history apparently go back to the first time I had ordered.
Based upon my experience, they have lost a customer; for future customers be wary and spend your hard earned money...
Read moreSo I went in to Manhattan Pizza in South Riding today. I asked for a calzone with pepperoni and sausage. The man taking my order said, "ok, no problem", then proceeded to puch a stromboli with pepperoni and sausage, hold the ham into the computer. I mentioned to him I wanted a calzone, not a stromboli. He then proceeded to tell me that they were the same (they aren't, a calzone has ricotta cheese as well as mozzarella). When I pointed it out again and said i wanted a calzone so I would have ricotta cheese as well, he said they'd add it. The manager was standing at the cooler stocking drinks at this point, and he also confirmed it would have ricotta. Well no surprise, my food came out to my table and guess what, no ricotta. By this point, I was really hungry, and I don't dislike strombolis, so I ate it. Once i was finished I threw my trash away. As I was leaving, I pointed out to the man who waited on me that I didn't have ricotta cheese in my stromboli, which is why I asked twice for a calzone. He then proceeded to smirk, roll his eyes and said, "whatever".
By far the worst service I've ever had at...
