This use to be my kids favorite place but unfortunately it seems it is not worth the money anymore and here is why: Parents are not supervising their children. my 18 month old and 3 year old were playing in the 2-7 year old zone because the baby zone was closed. While there a 3 year old boy told my kids they couldn’t play with the hanging balls, I told them this is a park for all kids and they need to share. Mom was no where in sight. Kid accepted it but not even 2 minutes later my baby was pushing a ball (he was not playing with) and he shoved her into the pole. I told the child “we do not push others.” Finally a woman popped up from her phone and walks over. No apologies just took a picture her kid pushed my baby again and she did nothing. I told her she needs to watch her kids cause her son is pushing my baby. All she did was tell him be nice. We then went to a different area.
older boys are being disrespectful to the ball pits and equipment running through the big tower pushing my 7 year old daughter as they ran.
-they have field trips there with not nearly enough chaperones as the big kids were running through the baby zone and one stepped on my babies hand (this was when the baby zone was open)
many more issues with supervision unfortunately and staff does not seem to care or offer a solution
They took areas apart and had open work zones so there was no safe baby zone for my littlest to play in. Not to mention it was blocked off by caution tape rather than closing for remodeling.
Cleanliness is LACKING I will attach photos but there were cookies and sugar packets and trash littering the play structures it was disgusting and I know it wasn’t from that day cause we were there at open.
We have been coming for years ever since this place opened and have loved it but unfortunately it is becoming an unsafe and dirty place that parents think they can just ditch their kids and sit on their phone to take a break from being a parent. I am extremely disappointed in how hyper kidz is becoming I use to recommend this place to everyone, but until they make changes in supervision policies and cleanliness I know I...
Read moreWe have been coming to hyper kids for awhile and today was just absurd. The last time we tried to go they were working in the middle section and there were screws and tools everywhere with kids running through it. How they are even allowed to be opened boggles my mind. I had asked for a refund or a pass to come back (because the new section is nice on the left side) she was very rude about it but ended up giving me two passes. Forward to today, we walked in the big section was starting to be worked on, I called yesterday to ask if construction was complete and they had said yes. I asked for a discount and my friend and I were able to only pay for one kid each to which we handed over our free passes. Our kids luckily enjoyed the middle and left part.
The bathrooms were disgusting and the place clearly hadn’t been cleaned up but without wanting to cause a tantrum we let the kids play in the recently done areas. The water fountain was actively leaking water that they just threw children play mats on.
The worst part was that I had asked when they were going to be done and he said today in 7 days. Not sure which one is accurate but there is absolutely no way that it will be done today, maybe 7 but please if you have a party coming up go in and check because it’s a complete hazard for the littles and I’m baffled they are still open. I would respect the establishment so much more if they closed for a day or two to do renovations as that shows they care about the safety of children being that it is a children’s place. I thought it was odd they had to bribe customers with a free pass to leave a 5 star review last year which has recently been deleted because today was anything but that. The one star is barely deserved. Most likely won’t be returning...
Read moreI saw previous reviews talking about older children playing in the section for babies below 2, but management responded professionally to those reviews, so I thought the problem had been resolved. But it has not.
I took my daughter on Sunday, hoping it would be a good place for her to practice crawling. While I liked the actual play space, the older kids in the below 2 area make it unsafe. They play really roughly, run around without being careful not to run into the babies, jump over the wall into the little kids play space without checking to see if there are any kids there, throw things into the play space, or start jumping really hard on the trampoline even if there were small babies playing on it currently.
It made the whole experience so stressful, and really unenjoyable. I constantly had to swoop in and move by baby to make sure they wouldn't get hurt, or ask the kids to please be gentle, or remind them that this space is for kids under 2. Their parents were never anywhere to be found. In general, there are a lot of kids here with parents paying zero attention to them.
I don't understand why staff isn't keeping an eye on the play spaces to make sure the age requirements are being enforced. It is not that big of a space, just having one person walking around to remind the kids would have made a huge difference. There seems to be zero supervision of the space from the staff. At one point I saw a little boy climbing on top of the wall that borders the under 2 trampoline space, and chucking random foam pieces from the other play spaces into...
