Let’s begin with the root of the issue: the extensive menu. A menu of this size requires a kitchen and staff that can match its ambition. Unfortunately, Aura does not appear to have either. If operational capacity can’t keep up, the sensible solution is to streamline the offerings and perfect fewer dishes.
Now, let me walk you through my experience.
Yes, the restaurant is visually impressive—well-lit, well decorated, and designed for Instagram. But we didn’t come for a photo shoot. We came for a meal.
The photos I’ve attached were taken the moment the food touched our table—a full 1 hr 10 minutes after we were seated. Even the complimentary dish arrived 45 minutes in. That kind of wait suggests a serious issue behind the scenes.
And when the food finally did arrive, presentation was shockingly poor—careless plating, rushed garnishes, and an overall lack of finesse. I’ve seen schoolchildren plate with more intention. The quality reflected the chaos: dishes were inconsistently cooked—some burnt, some raw, others over-salted or under-seasoned. Not a single item tasted like it had been prepared with care.
Let’s talk logistics. It’s baffling that in-house diners are being sidelined for online orders. I counted over ten takeaway orders sent out while multiple tables, including ours, sat without food. Prioritizing delivery customers at the expense of your dine-in patrons is not only poor business—it’s disrespectful. If you’re unable to manage both streams, consider designating separate kitchen staff for online orders or pausing online intake during peak dine-in hours.
Lastly, the service robots appear to be more gimmick than utility. I observed staff manually escorting the robot, placing food on it, walking alongside it, and then manually recalling it from the table. If your robot still requires human babysitting, what is its actual function?
⸻
Recommendations: Streamline the menu: Focus on 10–12 core dishes you can consistently deliver well. Fix operational bottlenecks: Hire additional kitchen staff or scale back service during busy hours. Redefine service priorities: Invest in a better balance between dine-in and online orders. Retrain the kitchen: Presentation, seasoning, and cooking technique need urgent attention. Rethink robotics: Either integrate them properly into your workflow or scrap the novelty entirely.
Aura Indian Food Paradise has potential—its ambiance is inviting and concept intriguing. But until the kitchen and operations catch up, it risks being more style...
Read moreA modern, eclectic Indian restaurant serving up North and South Indian favorites along with some unique specialties. This is a fresh restaurant with a bright, glitzy interior paired with a bar and a pastry shop. A comfortable, celebratory vibe where you can relax while being served by friendly staff assisted by robots that bring the dishes out to the tables. A fun experience for the kids as well.
They have a decent spread of interesting cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, mocktails, and juices. We got their Mango Martini and a Taj Mahal. A decent martini but can't wait to try some of their other cocktails next time.
For the appetizers we ordered Drums of Heaven and Chicken Lollipop. Both tasted great. The Drums of Heaven is a bit on the spicy side. So much variety! Can't wait to try their Lahsuni chicken next time and the Gobi 65. Based on the two dishes we got today, I must say I'm looking forward to the next set of appetizers on my list.
The classic Butter Chicken is what we opted for along with Paneer Tikka Masala. A bit of a cop out but also allows us to gauge the quality of a restaurant. These two are signature Indian preparations that can define the overall food quality of a restaurant. And, I'm pleased to say that we loved it. The Butter Chicken had a bit of texture to the sauce which is atypical but I think it enhanced it. The Paneer Tikka Masala didn't look color-wise as a Tikka Masala but it delivered. We paired it with garlic naan which was soft and tasty but not as fluffy as in other restaurants. The dishes came with basmati rice on side.
We capped off our meal with a couple of desserts. The Gulab Jamun and Rasmalai. I preferred the Gulab Jamun. The Rasmalai was a little underwhelming though. Our friendly server, Nish, offered us a complimentary slice of Pineapple cake. A nice gesture and it allowed us to sample their pastry. They have an assortment of pastries; worth a try.
My only minor comment is that the large screen playing Bollywood songs in the restaurant detracts from the modern, classy vibe. It's somewhat distracting too.
Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing time at Aura and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Can't wait to come back and try more of their...

I recently had the absolute best dining experience at Aura Indian Food Paradise — and I don’t use that word lightly. This place truly lives up to its name.
✨ Ambience? Perfect. ✨ Service? On point. ✨ The crowd? Great energy. ✨ The hostess? Warm and welcoming. ✨ Servers? Outstanding. ✨ And the FOOD? Next-level.
It’s also very kid-friendly, which made a big difference for us. A special shoutout to our server Haritha — she was genuinely kind, patient, and incredibly sweet to my little boy. Aura is lucky to have someone like her on the team.
Here’s what we ordered — and every bite was unforgettable:
🥦 Karivepaku Gobi Crispy cauliflower florets stir-fried with fresh curry leaves, garlic, and a bold blend of spices. The flavor hits that perfect balance of earthy, spicy, and aromatic — you can taste the care in every bite. It’s not just an appetizer, it’s an experience.
🥘 Aura Mixed Veg Curry Royale A rich, comforting medley of fresh vegetables simmered in a beautifully spiced gravy. Each bite feels like a warm hug. The layers of flavor, from the subtle sweetness of the veggies to the deep, savory notes of the curry, make it an instant favorite.
🍚 Veg Dum Biryani This was the showstopper. Fragrant basmati rice, slow-cooked with marinated vegetables and infused with herbs and whole spices. The dum-style cooking locks in all the flavors — smoky, floral, spicy, and absolutely addictive.
🍞 Butter Naan & Bullet Naan Soft, fluffy, and charred just right. Perfect for scooping up that delicious curry or just enjoying on their own. The bullet naan had just the right kick — not too spicy, just enough to keep you coming back for more.
I can’t recommend this place enough. Aura Indian Food Paradise deserves all the success. And just when I thought the night couldn’t get better — the owner came by personally to check on us, making sure everything was good. That kind of attention says everything.
This is more than a restaurant. It’s a place you’ll want to come back to — again and...
