Review about WAXING. I cant recommend for now.
I am leaving this feedback cause I really never had such bad waxing experience as here. I do waxing all the time, so I can definitely compare and relate. I chose J. Sterlings because it is closer to my home. I wish I read reviews before even considering going there.
I am doing it for you , guys, to improve your services. I would hope you want to be better and satisfy all your customers. I am doing it right now to cover all moments I recall. I think I am more sad that masters provide such low quality services and women agree with it or afraid to say something.
I had to point out to the master that she didnt remove all hair. Really? Dont you see? If you really dont, use magnifying glass like all professionals nowadays. The more, while pointing out to her missed parts with hair, master told me WHAT ARE YOU, WORKING ON THE BOAT? The answer is NO. Just my beloved husband. I just asked for services and wanted all hair removed as the J.Sterlings offers. I had to ask for mirror to check if hair is gone. This is really bad. I didnt expect such at J.Sterlings at all. With other masters I used to go at the other places, hair was all gone, I didnt even have to question it cause this is how it is done if you claim to be a professional in waxing. Hopefully certified. When I ponted out some part to remove hair - she said THIS PART IS NOT IN THE ZONE. So, please, check out all area that Extended brazilian covers: An Extended Brazilian Waxing will cover the full front, full back and in between + a few inches down the leg. I really dont understand the idea of IF HAIR IS LIGHT, YOU DON'T NEED TO REMOVE IT. Cause this is what I noticed. If it is light and you cant see it - it will never be removed. After the service was done, wax was stuck to my body and nothing was done to remove it. Nothing. Really? Do they not teach it during education? Cause I believe they do cause all the places I have been to use special lotion or something else to remove stuck wax.
All human beings are wonderful and deserve better...
Read moreI had a European facial with an add on of scalp massage by Linda this past week. The service was nice however I donât think that I enjoyed my experience for the price point of $65 (plus $10 in tip). Here is my honest review: I felt rushed. While Linda was sweet, I felt kind of ânext in lineâ rushed and that maybe they were running behind. My facial+ scalp massage did not last a full 50 minutes, even with the add-on of scalp massage. I arrived at 12:50, I went back to the room at 1:12 and I was checked out and in my car by 2:01. I would have expected my massage and facial to be a full 60 minutes (even to account for the few minutes of changing your clothes n such) The products caused me to have more black heads and uneven skin tone afterwards. The products were not explained to me before hand. In previous experience, every product is listed or discussed before the facial starts. (I would have liked a list of products to review while waiting in the waiting room) The quality of the massage was not my personal taste- it didnât really hit the caliper that I am used to. I think the massage portion was extremely basic and underwhelming. The waiting room and overall aesthetic is unpleasant. When I am going to a spa, I want to feel refreshed and super pampered and that is why I am spending money . I did not find the atmosphere to be restful. It felt outdated and dirty. Kind of like primary care doctor waiting room vibes. The scent was very strong and cheap-smelling, like a continuous air freshener from the grocery store. They are offering free services for a 5 star review. I donât love this because it makes me think that some of the âgood reviewsâ online are only because people want $5 off their next service.
Here are the positives: The front desk staff was really sweet. She answered the phone promptly. Additionally, I noticed that they are advertising and using good quality Botox and fillers (I used to work in...
Read moreMy wife and I recently visited J Sterling Massage in Winter Park for a couple's massage on a Friday afternoon, perfectly timed before our anniversary dinner reservation. Despite a massive downpour on our way there, which left the parking lot flooded and us quite drenched, the staff immediately impressed us. We were promptly greeted with warm towels to help us dry off â a thoughtful touch that was much appreciated!
After checking in, we had a brief, comfortable wait in their inviting waiting area. The soft spa music and comfortable couches created a relaxing ambiance, and we were offered water to refresh ourselves. Our massage therapists were punctual, greeting us right at our scheduled time and leading us to the therapy room.
We each opted for different massage types: I chose a deep tissue, focusing on my upper back and left shoulder, while my wife enjoyed a traditional relaxing massage. My therapist listened attentively to my areas of concern and dedicated extra time to them during the 50-minute session. The pressure throughout the deep tissue massage was consistent and exactly what I'd expect. A standout detail was how the therapists used warm, steamed towels to wipe down each body part after it was worked on, leaving us feeling clean and not at all greasy â a huge plus compared to other spas!
What we truly appreciate about J Sterling is their no-frills approach. The focus is clearly on delivering an exceptional massage experience, rather than unnecessary "spa" fluff like robes or elaborate relaxation rooms. This commitment to the core service translates into fantastic value. The front desk staff, our therapists, and the facility itself all contributed to a highly adequate and satisfying experience.
My wife and I will absolutely be making J Sterling Massage a regular part of our recovery and relaxation routines....
