My husband and I came here for a date night and really enjoyed our time and food. We had the jalapeño cream cheese appetizer which was a good level spicy. I actually liked the flavor and texture of it all. We also ordered eel roll (could use a tad bit more eel but good flavor) sunshine roll (first time seeing an odd shaped roll but had good flavor) dragon roll (this was my favorite) moonshine( I liked this roll but it was really weird as it was sweet and garlicky) cucumber wrapped one(not sure the name but was pleasant). Its a small little restaurant with cute accents of Asian style. The staff was the best part. Everyone there was friendly and super helpful. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. He even suggested a roll that ended up being very good. Walking in you can smell the nail salon next door but once we sat down and started eating I didn't even notice the smell. Overall we had a great experience and wouldn't mind...

Grace was truly a breath of fresh air—attentive, kind, and incredibly thoughtful throughout our dining experience. Despite the overbearing presence of the restaurant owner, which slightly diminished the overall sense of hospitality, Grace’s warm demeanor and professionalism shone through. We were served the Wicked Ahi sushi roll, the Dragon roll, and the Dark Side of the Rainbow roll—each one carefully crafted and presented picture perfectly. Grace even went the extra mile by creating adorable thank-you cards, a small yet meaningful gesture that shows just how appreciative and dedicated she is in her role. Her attention to detail and genuine care for guests are rare qualities, and we sincerely hope the universe brings her even more kind-hearted patrons to serve—because she deserves nothing less...

If you're looking for a sushi spot that feels like home but tastes like a five-star experience—Sushi Kawa is the place to be! From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome, and the vibe is laid-back but full of care.

A huge shout-out to Chef Kyle—the magic behind the counter! Every roll was beautifully crafted and absolutely delicious. You can tell he puts real heart into his work. The fish was fresh, the presentation was spot-on, and the flavors were perfectly balanced.

Whether you're a sushi newbie or a longtime fan, you'll be in great hands here. Chef Kyle’s creativity and attention to detail make the whole experience extra special. Don’t miss the special rolls—trust me, they’re game-changers!

Can’t wait to come back. Thanks, Chef Kyle and the...

For your own health and safety, I strongly recommend staying away from this restaurant. The sushi rolls are bland, and more concerning is the state of the kitchen, which is unhygienic and unsafe. I’ve attached pictures so you can see what I mean. The way this establishment is managed is troubling. The owners show unfair treatment toward people from different backgrounds, and staff are not treated with dignity or respect. Employees have told me they are not paid fairly, which is unacceptable. Most importantly, the lack of cleanliness behind the scenes makes this place a health hazard. This establishment should not be in business until these serious hygiene issues are corrected. Please review the attached photos and judge for yourself.
