People that don't come from Military Families, might not understand the significance of such prestigious Veterans, their Wives, and children's Cemetery. My grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, best friend's brother, and my best friend's mother, and father are all buried at JB. Along with my mother and father's best friends. What we all have in common with these families is that one or more family or friends served in the Military. The staff is excellent from the time you get there, and escort you to the service for your loved one. Their words are so compassionate & warm for the family especially. The Military send-off is something you don't forget, along with the memorial coin, certificate, bullet, and the American Flag. A gun salute by a rifle squad is reserved for veterans who retired from military service, service members killed on active duty, and Medal of Honor recipients. My father and grandfather both were retired this was so moving, along with the veterans who volunteer for this special salute...
Read moreI recently visited Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery to pay my respects to 16 brave Americans who tragically lost their lives in a plane crash in Taiwan on September 10, 1945, and were laid to rest here on February 22, 1950. The cemetery itself is a place of solemn beauty and reverence, and the staff's dedication to honoring those who served is evident. I highly recommend a visit to Jefferson Barracks, especially if you are seeking to connect with American history and pay tribute to our veterans. Thank you, Chris, and the entire staff team, for your...

Gave them my email address and hope it goes to the greens keepers fund. I had Wreaths put at my families graves and found out the people that put them out don't pick them up. But they are left out until Jan 21st. They try to get volunteers to help the grounds keepers to pick them up. Thank you Keith and Dustin who were the two great people...
