Its my bad that i should check the park before i make a reservation. I called and booked for a pavilion on memorial Sunday. Reservation fee was paid on Monday, 5 days until memorial Sunday. I was nervous how to get there. I decided to come and check for the picnic location. But i find out i dont like it much. I called the the park following morning, Tuesday, to ask for a cancellation. Its not 24 hours yet, i think can get a partial refund back within 24 hours. But they said no refund within 30 days. That sounds rediculous. I was told at the time of booking if i make a cancellation, $24 fee will be deducted drom the refund. Now it sounds like im robbed from the park booking. I do not suggest this park to anyone because its not under well-maintenance and also the cancellation policy is not written/clarified at the booking. There's so many nice and beautiful parks around St Louis that has a better policy. DO NOT COME TO SYLVAN SPRINGS PARK or any parks belong to St Louis County Parks and...

They do NOT even deserve one star! Went to a water balloon birthday party last weekend and there was NO water to fill up the balloons and water guns! It was a horrible experience for the 7 year old and his family. What should have been a great day for the little guy turned out to be devastating! His mother paid 80 dollars to rent the Pavillion after being reassured there would be water. When she arrived there was no water! The whole thing was locked up with no way to unlock it! She had saved money since Christmas to throw him a great party and it was ruined by the park. They refuse to refund or do anything about it. Absolutely horrible customer service! I would not recommend people to use the park for anything that might be important to you or...

Always a hit for the grandchildren and I A big plus is that the restrooms are super close . Handy when you have more than one child along for some water fun . Lots of shady area to get outta the sun for a bit or the whole visit ; a nice touch is that you have a choice . Mostly all the kids play together and share their personal toys with others that may HD forgotten to remember to bring their stuff or maybe they don't have one at all . Of course kids will be kids , but I gotta say this is a great place to bing the kiddos and watch kids from everywaln of life come toghter and have one...

This cool little park has a skate park, a playground, and a splash pad, as well as picnic pavilions. It's also home to Sylvan Springs Beverage Garden, a World War Two beverage garden and picnic area which was built by the CCC, for use by all troops stationed at Jefferson Barracks. The park also features some nice open areas. This is a great park for speeding time with the family.

Love this little sunken garden! So peaceful, feels magical. There are also little fairy/gnome gardens that we add stuff to along with others in the community from time to time! Super close to a skate park, and picnic areas with BBQ grills, too!
