I’m sorry to write a review about a place I’ve been coming for years and had good experiences with on the whole, but I had such a terrible and painful experience last week that I have to write a review, to spare someone else this pain.

It was definitely a new girl who did my pedicure, and she worked with my feet as if she had no understanding of feet. She was grabbing my toes in a painful way and her nails were digging into my skin, but I put up with that part, thinking it was weird. But I have bunions from running; and in 20+ years of getting pedicures, have never had someone grab them and hurt me in this way. At some moments, I thought she was not only new, but depressed and angry to be working there, because she grabbed my bunions so hard that I cried out in pain. I mean, I get it: working with feet must not be fun for most people.

This isn’t an expensive salon, so I deal with a miscut toenail or a bad paint job without complaining. But this girl cut my toenail on a pronounced slant (which the owner/manager could clearly see), but then acted for 15 minutes like she couldn’t see the problem (it’s still slanted, though the owner tried to communicate how to fix it; and my husband, who notices little, noticed the slant). I just needed to get out of there after dealing with this woman.

It’s one thing to be new and kind, and another to have spite in your heart, which is how this woman seemed. I am now scared to go back! Probably a labor shortage issue, but…not worth the risk of...

Today was the most frustrating experience in years. I’ve been coming here on and off for years for manicures and pedicures. Usually my husband accompanies me and he sit quietly so people just kinda move around him. I went for a dip manicure as usual and picked a color. They started pressuring my husband to get a manicure which he agreed to and the nail tech (Tiffany) doing my nails starts pressuring his nail tech to present him with the $50 manicure even though she says no multiple times. I get this is a business but that just seems unnecessary.

Anyway, normally in my experience dip gets soaked off today it was all e-file so not all of the previous color even came off I can still see spots of my previous color on my nails. And I’m not sure when manicures stopped including cuticle trimming but that didn’t happen either

I always ALWAYS get almond shape and have never been charged more at this location and I assumed it was because I walked in with almond shape so they’re not having to do the whole shaping thing. Today I got charged for that as well as having long nails. I’ll attach a photo but if these are long then I’m insane but maybe their scale is different. I kept asking about the price differences and asked to see the pricing list and they would not show me one so I paid and left. I was so upset because 1) my nails aren’t terrible but I’m not happy with them 2) I felt like we ended up paying more than expected even when we...

My daughter and both got full sets and I got a pedicure. I have been to this location multiple times. Today is the first time that I’ve encountered an issue. The person that did my pedicure did a poor job and they were unable to do it correctly. The woman attempted to paint my nails twice, and it looked very messy. I had nail polish on my skin and the nail polish on my nail looked Messy. I asked her to remove the nail polish and noticed that she also hadn’t Cleaned up around my nails. Usually, my toes look great when I leave this place and I was very disappointed today. She didn’t even apply cuticle oil when she was done. She didn’t offer to let me sit under the dryer for my feet. She didn’t do anything to separate my toes while she was painting them. She didn’t cut the nail that was digging into my toe. The massage was also rushed and didn’t even really feel like a massage just like she was touching my feet. I went home and cleaned up and painted my own toes. I always tip generously and return to this location, biweekly or monthly. I understand the not every experience will be great, but I also think the way the owners handled the situation today was not how anyone should treat loyal customers. They gave me five dollars off of $49 service. I paid $44 for service that I was completely unsatisfied with. I couldn’t stay to have the job done again today, but I would’ve liked to have received an offer to...

Do not go to this salon! I am really easy to please, but this place was just horrible. I went in on 08/26 for a shellac manicure. I had dip on my nails and I needed to get it soaked off. (Like every place should do) the tech used the electric drill to bring them down... I would've rather soaked them off but no big deal. Once they came off I asked the tech to not use the drill on my actual nails and she replied "only a little bit" and continued drilling. My nails are normally thick and healthy and she drilled them so much that they're breaking and my nail beds are in pain. On top of that she did not use sterilized equipment, and the nail file she used on me was obviously already used as well. She did not push back my cuticles or used cuticle cream. This was the worst nail experience I have ever encountered. The pictures I attached of my manicure were taken the morning after and you can see where one nail is already breaking and right thumb has a huge chip.

I am INCREDIBLY impressed with the service here. 100% would recommend this place to anyone. I came to this place after work for a refill. This was my first visit here and the staff was friendly. I had a guy name Henry do my nails. It was $35 for a refill. What makes my experience though here above average was the skill that Henry had. I wish I took a before picture of my nails because it was too wide, too square, and just didn’t look natural to me. I was really picky and told Henry that I wanted my nails to be shaped more narrow, skinny, rounded and filed straight at the edge. Even though I was picky, Henry reached every expectation I had and it even looks natural. I’m so happy! Henry was awesome and even educated me on what makes a good nail so that tells me that he knows what he’s doing! The only con I have is that I live in Missouri City so this place is so far from me but I definitely think it’s worth the drive!
