This review has been taken down twice. Tells you everything you need to know about this company. Have personally seen two people have allergic reactions in this store(fairfield location), and have notified the owners of the incident. health inspector examined and said things were fine. lack of actual management leaves important duties unfulfilled until something breaks. Mold can grow in ice machines.
Staff is mislead and too young to be treated as they are here. Owners are the most mysterious people and put up a facade that makes them seem like they are there for the community, when really they are only there for themselves. Workers are not given the opportunity to be classified as actual employees here and are therefore taken advantage of by this company. The owners also run a very suspicious coffee business that has very pyramid-like features.
Do not trust this unfaithful company as far as you can throw them, not to mention the place has passed countless health inspections by miracles alone. Have personally witnessed many people have allergic reactions to the food and have personally let the owners and chef know, and they didn't even really acknowledge it, and they blamed it on the customer.
Workers are only kept here by the promise of more money, despite the owners not paying anywhere near what these workers deserve, and TAKING THEIR TIPS, and FORCING them to pay more taxes because the owners want to save a penny. Not to mention they are literally encouraged by management to be intoxicated on the job.
Want to support a real business? Be treated like a customer? Don't come here. Visit a place where the owners are actually presentable and active, and honest. These people are only here to keep raising the prices on you and make the money that they think they're owed. This place is literally ran by kids half of the time that have no idea what they're doing, and aren't even given proper certification for what they are doing. It's one thing to give them a place to grow and learn, but to just throw them into it without any help is just ridiculous. Take notice of the constantly increasing surcharge and remember that the tip isn't going anywhere towards those poor workers. I'd advise anyone looking for a job to look elsewhere because these people will cost you a lot more time than you are willing to spend on them.
Appearance isn't everything. This business isn't what it looks like it is, even...
Read moreI am extremely frustrated with the experience I had today at your Cypress location. I came with my family and ordered Dallah Arabic coffee, something I had just last week, but the entire situation was handled poorly and unprofessionally by your staff.
To begin with, the first employee didn’t even know how to ring up the Dallah coffee. I had to explain it to her, but she still seemed lost. When the coffee finally arrived, it was black—not the golden Dallah coffee I had ordered.
When I politely approached the counter to explain the mistake, another staff member responded with an unbelievably rude and dismissive attitude. I told her Dallah coffee is golden in color, yet she insisted the black coffee was correct, arguing with me instead of correcting the mistake. I’m Arabic—I know what Dallah coffee is, but instead of resolving the issue, she continued to argue with me, which was both disrespectful and unprofessional.
What made matters worse was that the husband of the owner was standing there while the employee was on the phone with the owner. While he was polite and aware of the situation, no action was taken to resolve the issue. The lack of accountability and the refusal to step in is completely unacceptable from someone in a management position.
As a result, I will be taking my business to Houston location, where I know the owners truly care about their customers, understand their menu, and hire staff who provide excellent service. The difference between how they run their business and what I experienced at your Cypress location is night and day.
It’s not about the refund or the coffee at this point—it’s about the complete lack of respect and care from your staff and management. I strongly suggest you address this issue immediately because this kind of service will drive customers away.
I expect a serious response to...
Read moreFound it on Google map, and I was so exited to have a crepe, enjoy a coffee and like this. Unfortunately experience was not to pleasant. I barley enter say politely hello and the persons who work here looked at me and don't even say anything. Well.. ok,fine. I look at the chocolates that they have there since I have never been here before, and I go to place an order. Over there same situation. Nobody say anything. I ask the girl if nobody is greeting the costumers here because I see that I keep saluting and nobody bother to answer. The girl give me a look like that she watch me from the head to toes. ( might be because my appearance with my head cover and my big jacket was not enough fancy for her) and just go with another costumer that came after me. Simply ignored. Just wonderful!! I waited and polite asked for a menu. She pointed in front of me or told me to look on the bords. I have looked, and I was keep thinking why they act like this? I ask her a question about a crepe and chocolates;she give me the answer with no intrested of selling me something and at that moment I decided to just ask for some chocolate for to go. I bought some payed $28 for like 9 chocolate ,witch i was expected, so not surprising me. Not bad but I got better for this money ; have a flavor of goat milk in them honestly. But : my point of view, at this price of chocolate you gotta attend the costumer with respect and smile and all in one TO OFFER a good costumer service.. NOT TO JUDGE PEOPLE by their appearance. Personal I will never return to this place , and I can confirm that is because of...
