Review: Havana Bistro 555

I recently visited Havana Bistro 555 to celebrate my birthday with my family, and it turned out to be a truly delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the charming and unique chair seats setup. The bistro's attention to detail in creating such a cute and inviting atmosphere was commendable, and it instantly set the tone for a memorable celebration.

The decor of Havana Bistro 555 added to the overall fun ambiance. The vibrant colors, tropical accents, and tasteful Cuban-themed decorations created an immersive environment that transported us to the heart of Havana itself. It was evident that a lot of thought had been put into creating an authentic and enjoyable dining experience.

Now let's talk about the food. The empanadas and sandwiches we ordered were nothing short of spectacular. The flavors were rich and authentic, providing a much-needed diversion from our usual day-to-day palate. Each bite was a delightful journey into the vibrant and robust Cuban cuisine. It was evident that the chef took pride in crafting dishes that stayed true to their roots.

One dish that particularly stood out was the Cuban Sandwich. It was an absolute delight. The combination of tender, slow-roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard on perfectly toasted bread was a symphony of flavors. The sandwich was grilled to perfection, creating a satisfying crunch with every bite. It was a taste sensation that left a lasting impression, and I can't wait to go back to Havana Bistro 555 for another culinary adventure.

Overall, my birthday celebration at Havana Bistro 555 was a truly special day at a special eatery. The adorable chair seats setup, lively decor, and authentic flavors made it an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a place to enjoy delicious Cuban cuisine in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend Havana Bistro 555. Don't miss the opportunity to try their Cuban Sandwich—it's an...

If you’re craving authentic Cuban flavors, Havana Bistro 555 is an absolute gem. From the moment the dishes hit the table, the aroma alone had us excited and every bite delivered.

We ordered the Vaca Frita and Ropa Vieja, two Cuban staples, and both were absolutely packed with flavor. The Vaca Frita was tender with crispy edges and a rich, garlicky tang, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The Ropa Vieja, slow-cooked shredded beef in a savory tomato-based sauce with sweet red peppers, was equally mouthwatering and deeply satisfying. You could taste the care put into every component.

Each dish came with fluffy white rice and sweet maduros (fried plantains), which added a delicious balance to the savory flavors. We also ordered a side of tostones (crispy green plantains), and they were spot-on crispy, golden, and perfectly salted.

To drink, we had a glass of fresh passion fruit juice bright, refreshing, and tropical without being overly sweet. It was the perfect way to complement such a rich and flavorful meal.

Our experience was made even better thanks to Leydis, our server, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. Her warm energy really added to the overall vibe of the place.

The plating was clean and inviting, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. It’s clear that Havana Bistro 555 values both authenticity and quality.

Whether you’re a Cuban food enthusiast or trying it for the first time, this place is a must. We’ll definitely be coming back probably for the...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Havana Bistro 555 with my family and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and an inviting ambiance that made me feel right at home.

The menu is a delightful journey through Cuban cuisine, with a perfect blend of traditional dishes and innovative twists. I started with the Ropa Vieja, a rich and flavorful shredded beef stew that was incredibly tender and seasoned to perfection. The accompanying plantains were crispy on the outside and wonderfully sweet on the inside.

One of the standout features of Habana Bistro 555 is their attention to detail. The presentation of each dish is exquisite, and the flavors are perfectly balanced.

The service was exceptional. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly passionate about the food they serve. They were more than happy to offer recommendations and explain the dishes, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. The cortadito coffee with evaporated milk at the end was sublime. I can't wait to return and explore more of their incredible menu. Keep...

We wanted to try out a different restaurant and came here. It was okay. The menu was a little hard to understand. Other menus I've seen have explanations in English underneath titles which aren't in English. It was also difficult to communicate with the waitress. The restaurant is clean. I wasn't sure what the large counter space was for because it didn't seem utilized for much other than taking an order or making coffee. My Husband liked his food. Mine was okay. It had a variety of food on the plate, but I made the mistake of getting mostly fried items. I think I would try something else next time.

This place is an authentic GEM! Cypress is lucky enough to have such a unique bistro/bakery with great coffee & so much more on the menu. I got my comfort pastelito (guayaba y queso) for my first time with a latte. I can't wait to move back into the area & try more on the menu. Do not pass on this place. It's a bright & comfortable space, lovely staff, & top notch food & drink. They have croquetas, mofongo, sandwiches, & imported drinks!!! If you can't tell I'm really excited to finally have this Cuban spot here 😆 🇨🇺 😊
