Initially I thought this place was great. They were friendly and said hello... The reason I’m giving them a one star is a friend and I were sorting through some patches. We found about 10-15. Started to walk around the store to look around and really determine which ones we wanted to buy. We knew we wouldn’t buy them all but wanted to think about it as we looked around. We made it one isle over and put some back. The employee/owner approached us and ask where the patches went, implying we stole them. We explained that we put some back and my friend began explaining how he and a few other airmen were trading patches on base and he was only interested in a few eclectic ones. After roaming around the store we were ready to check out. He came back over after the lady rang us up, flipped over the patches (didn’t make eye contact) and walked away.
If they’re that worried about $2-$4 patches they should keep them behind the counter or get more cameras. They should never make a customer feel like they’re assuming they’re stealing. I’ll never return or recommend this place. I’m NOT a thief, if I was, it sure as hell wouldn’t be a $2 patch.
They have a little bit of everything. Prices are not a bargain. They’re pushing Levi jeans for the same price as any department store. Plain T shirts are $5. Again might as well shop at a...
Read moreLet me preface this review with that this is not a jab or a takedown of the people who run the Army Navy Store. I think it's just a deal of nobody paying attention to what they are selling and buying. I grew up in that area and have been there many many times to get stuff and this is actually comment on something a friend bought, not me. One of my fellow patriots showed me some stuff he bought there. I don't want to detail exactly what he bought because he would be angry if he found out this was about him. I looked over the stuff he bought, knowing a lot about what he had purchased, him not so much. The first item he payed over $270 for and when I looked at it I knew, by the brand, it was way cheaper than that even brand new, less than $100 on the manufacturer's website. The second thing they charged him $100 for and you could get online for half, maybe a little less with shipping. So they sold him a little more than $200 worth of stuff ( and that's the high side), for over $400 after tax if I calculate it right. I can't call it a rip off because I don't know if the store knowing sold a $100 item for almost $300. All I can say is that if you are buying anything there, other than military surplus, make sure you look into what...
Read moreMy life can be divided into two parts; before and after I visited Pants Towne. I have come to experience nothing that is on the same visceral emotional level of browsing through the various hats, shirts, and especially pants that Pants Towne has to offer. The day I first laid eyes on Pants Towne was the same day I planned to propose to my girlfriend at the Ruby Tuesdays in the same mall. However the moment I entered this establishment I knew I wouldn't be able to stay true to her as my only real love would and forever always be Pants Towne. Every dollar I make goes into purchases at Pants Town. I've lost my car, my home, even my job supporting my addiction to this wondrous location. I know my life would be nothing without the novelty caps and fairly priced bottomwear that this store has to offer, I've resorted to odd jobs on Craigslist in order to continue the life Pants Towne and I have created.
In conclusion, very good customer service, wide selection of products, air conditioning always on. Would shop at...
