Check your golf clubs first before actually using them if you are renting them!! My daughter stated that the guy had taken over 2-3 minutes to find a couple of golf clubs. My daughter and son didn’t realize that it was already broken until half way through. One of the children were cut by this and realized that and stopped playing giving the remaining balls to the person right next by them. They went to go pay, the guy and someone who was basically translating him stated that the children had caused the whole breakage. They were forced to pay so one of the children were able to get their permit back. There was clearly glue already stuck on to keep the golf club attached and one of the men had to stated that it was manufactured that way. It clearly isn’t manufactured that way and than they had continued to say that the children had hit it in a certain way to break it when the kids already have experience on golfing. The way they went out with this was in a very calm manner but I feel as if my children were put in the situation because they ARE children. A couple of days before my other child was golfing and almost hit the man on the ground picking up the golf balls had cussed her out for almost nearly hitting him when she was a beginner. She didn’t go with the bunch with the...
Read moreBeen coming here regularly for over a year so my thoughts are on my observations long term. Here's my main gripe: Their Top Tracer system isn't very accurate: I brought my own launch monitor on several occasions and found the numbers on their system were quite inflated. Maybe its done to boost egos.. who knows. Only the ball speed, launch angle and ball flight path were more or less reliable. The carry distances get more and more ridiculous the longer the club. Carry drives over 300yds with a 150 ball speed? (See pics) Happens here all the time. If you practice here in hopes of getting accurate numbers and dialing in your distances but find your shots massively short on the actual course, you'll know why.
Besides that, the mats and balls are worn out and need to be refreshed (desperately).
If they calibrated their tracer system, refreshed their mats and balls regularly, this would become a top notch place.
For those complaining about the price of range balls, buy the membership and save yourself a lot of money. If you're only coming here just to have fun on a Friday night with some food and beer, then the prices are par for the course. You'll spend a lot more at top golf. If you want accurate ball numbers, invest in your own...
Read morePoor place for a driving range. The driving range is poorly maintained and it is apparent that little care goes into making this driving range a better one for the customers. The clubs that they provide for rentals are very limited and are almost entirely in bad and worn-down condition. This driving range is not even decent by driving range standards. They use improvised soccer goals and rusty metal oil barrels to mark the yards. If that's not an indicator of a golf course that needs true, professional maintenance, I dont know what is. I've seen smaller and lower cost golf ranges that provide a ten times better driving range combined with an actual 18 hole golf course that have more staff and have great quality club rentals for people to use. There are better golf ranges/courses along Satellite blvd. in the sugarloaf/Suwanee area if you take the time drive further north of the road. Believe me, its worth driving...
