Called on a Sunday morning at around 11:00am, hoping to make an appointment. Someone answered immediately, and let me know that they could see me at 4:00pm. I showed up for my appointment, and was immediately greeted by Kim (the stylist I booked with). She let me know she was finishing up, and finished with her other client within a few minutes. Staff were really friendly and took me back to have my hair washed as she was finishing up. As I was having my hair washed, the girl doing so asked me what I was thinking about doing - and I showed her photos with bangs. She was like "ehhh..." and then asked me if I considered another style. We looked up some photos and she convinced me to go with another style (which was fine), because she said it would go better with my face shape. I showed Kim the photo and she immediately agreed that it was a good choice for my face shape. We ended up going shorter than I thought I would - which was fine - and went without bangs, but honestly? I like this cut a lot better than the one that I originally thought I wanted. Kim was very thorough and took her time to cut my layers and finish styling me. She was really confident, funny, and checked in with me throughout. She did an amazing job. She genuinely seems to love what she does, and she is damn good at it. Highly suggest going to Rainbow if you have an open mind, are willing to trust someone with 30 + years of experience, and enjoy supporting a small, unpretentious and very inexpensive salon. I'll definitely be going back...
Read moreThe Most unwelcoming place i ever visited in my life There was a guy as soon as i entered he was way too rude the way he just looked at me, was making me feel that I have made an mistake coming here already A lady came from behind and said hie i told her i have an appointment so she asked me to sit. When i was in the salon there was 2 ladies already they had as same language as the people working there and of course i can see the difference between the treatment they were getting then me well I am writing to share my recent experience as a customer at your salon, and unfortunately, it is not a positive one.During my visit, I encountered instances of what I perceived as racist behaviour from the staff members. It deeply saddened me to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable in a place that should provide a pleasant and inclusive atmosphere for all customers.I believe it's crucial for businesses to be aware of such issues, as they can significantly impact customer satisfaction. I would appreciate it if you could address this matter with your team to ensure a more welcoming and respectful environment for everyone. I paid for my service so I really expect a acceptable customer service atlest I sincerely hope that steps will be taken to prevent such occurrences in the...
Read moreHonestly, I would only let Kim do hair don’t let anyone else... I had a nice experience but honestly, I regret paying 170 dollars for this. Cried after leaving because the guy who did my hair knew he had messed up my hair, he kept saying to leave it curly so I wouldn’t notice the damage… I should have left when I saw another girl in the shop washing my hair and started to laugh with him and keep looking at 1 side of my hair! They also did some treatment to my hair and didn’t bother to ask me which was 30 dollars which isn’t bad but for this botched hairstyle is a lot! Honestly just go to someone who knows how to do hair !!
Update: I tried to contact the owner for a refund we kept going back and forth about it stating she wanted me to come in and stuff, I told her I wasn’t comfortable coming due to the experience and just wanted a refund, showed her multiple pictures and side of how botched my hair was, and Damage like you can see it in the picture how fried my hair was, she dared to say that she didn’t see anything wrong!!!! Oh yeah did I tell you she didn’t respond to me for two days until I demanded my refund!? She texted me that, she didn’t see anything!!!! And blocked me because I tried to msg her again! So yea this place is just...
