I visited the International Admissions Office, and they were all so friendly and helpful. I especially want to say a big thank you to Elizabeth Madrigal — she was very friendly, knowledgeable and kind. I was in a hurry to get my acceptance letter, and she helped me with every step and constantly followed up on my application until I got it. She’s one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Thank you to the entire International Admissions Office team!

We went to the learning zoo today and it was perfect. Not to crowded and enough room to get a good little exercise in, while seeing all the animals

Where can i start. I'm in the Ged program at the Downtown Blunt Center. It's an a experience i don't feel like nobody with mental health problems such as Bipolar 1,Learning disabilities should go until you know you will have the right accommodations that will help you achieve your goals. They judge you before you walk through the door. There is a lot of comparing you to other students. You have to teach yourself. Why ask for help on something you never done and they make you do it anyways without an introduction and look crazy in front of the class. The math instructor dont be there all the time, Kris!!! She started a math class for everybody, then stopped abruptly. I guess i wasnt worth her time. They all can be nice nasty. Laura is on the positive side. I hate the way Jason puts problems on boards and make you work the problem out, many of us are uncomfortable with that. I just wish TYRUS BRADSHAW would come back because he did it all from helping you sign up for college, promote Santa Fe College to the community. The rest are lazy as hell. Tyrus was well Connected to the other's from the big campus. When you come in and you want to know anything about signing up or getting help with financial aide Tyrus Bradshaw was the one to go to. I saw the white help the white and i saw Tyrus Helps EVERYBODY! No mater what race, sex, etc. He did so much that the other's literally would smoke cigarettes outside for God knows how long. Tyrus Bradshaw even let the college student's and GED program students meet the president himself. I work so my job comes first. Then they will tell you you have to come and you basically have to change your schedule or quit your job to acomplish this GED. Im 36 not 18. I have bills and i have a spouse. They play alot of games. By me having bipolar 1 it's a struggle already. I'm sorry but my college experience will be City College. Please bring Tyrus Bradshaw back to help our future kids. He was very knowledgeable and informative. I saw kids who needed help of color and was ignored by the other people who was doing what Tyrus did. Get some real Math and Reading teachers who really is here to see accomplishments from EVERY student no matter race or sex. Thats gonna help all Students, not who they want to help. I saw a white girl in our Ged class and they let her stay in our GED class and prep for college and when another student completed her GED, she (black) was told she couldn't come. I'm speaking for people with disabilities such as learning and mental. We can be productive to. We just need a school who will accommodate us. I'm routined because of the bipolar 1 and when Miss nice nasty Kris stopped the class a couple of weeks before i took my real test and me getting ready for my math test, I still needed help, she just stopped and was like, oh well. Please get some order down there in the Ged classes. Please find Mr. Tyrus Bradshaw!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to go to evening classes but guess what, one of the instructors is not good at explaining math so i might have to come to morning classes. That defeats my purpose of coming to night classes. I can't make mornings. And the math wiz instuctor Kris she may not even show up on Wednesday night's. I guess I will have to teach myself again. I scored a 141 without them i can get those 4 points myself. I'm ready to give up but I'm tired of their bs. Rules changing EVERYDAY!!! Please do something about the GED...

Horrendous and regretful school experience. As a small zoo and visually, this college is nice. It's walkable. Some professors are pleasant too and you can tell that they really enjoy their job which made my experience nice too. But this is not a school I would recommend to anyone.

There are a FEW majors that you MIGHT learn all you need and want. And, depending on your major (and instructors), this may be an affordable starting point, but I encourage you to leave as soon as possible. If you do enroll here, I HIGHLY encourage you to be a transient student and take classes at UF.

This school was a letdown from the start. I enrolled here right out of high school in the 2010s and wanted to get a B.A. for the initial major I always wanted. They allowed it at the time, but it would take 4 year for a simple A.S. degree, and that's attending full-time. Whoever approved/agreed to 4 years equaling an A.S. had rocks for brains. To this day, I still feel like I wasted my money, but more importantly, my time. It also killed the love and motivation I used to have for that major. Thankfully, I double majored and transferred, but I didn't learn all I could have or needed to; I still feel highly unsatisfied.

I did come back post-COVID, hoping to get a simple certificate through SFC because I wanted to change career paths, but that didn't work out either, and they have unjustly taken my money. I enrolled in a Data Analytics Management Specialist certification program after discussing it with that department's advisor, but she could only give me the limited info she knew. I enrolled, assuming it would align with job applications of the same/similar title, and the program would teach things like SQL, HTML, Python, and etc. It doesn't cover ANY of that at all! I found this out after the first week, and I tried to drop the class, but apparently, it was too late. Tried to petition TWICE to get my money back, and I explained how the title of the program was misleading. I was denied each time.

I cannot express in words how much this school was a tremendous letdown. Most of the staff, particularly the ones who don't have student-facing roles, don't keep the students even in the back of their mind, nor some of the student-facing staff either. The trickle-down effects are noticeable.

I have yet to meet a person who highly encourages others to attend this school, and I myself steer people clear of SFC unless it's their last option, unless they can be a transient. I see several people in the reviews have also shared their experiences and disappointment. I would even turn back the clock and relive those years if I could, just to get my money and my time back, and instead go to a...

Don’t bother going to this school if you’re going to use financial aid. Apparently they’ve made a mistake and now my financial aid is not going to go through for 48 hours (on their end, I applied and did what I was supposed to do 3 months ago), why? I don’t know. They gave me BS excuse after BS excuse. First it was saying that I didn’t enter my HS diploma on financial aid but then she fixed that, then they tried to say that one of the classes chosen was not apart of my degree, but my adviser chose it and then I double checked and it 100% was, so then she just was like well that’s what it says. Even if that was true, financial aid would pay for my other classes just not that one. now, since today is the last day to pay for the classes, I have to drop my classes and the progress I’ve made in them the last few weeks and I’ll have to wait until next semester. But I won’t be going to Santa Fe I’ll be finding somewhere else. Can’t get anyone on the phone to help, takes hours of waiting on hold then get hung up on by the automated system. This school seems like it has good professors, good advisors but the financial aid department is trash. If you type in “Santa Fe financial aid” and look at the reviews there you’ll see countless other students have been in the same position. You can’t even get ahold of anyone in the cashiers office, they don’t call back either. I was going to see what I could do about maybe a payment plan, but they won’t answer or call back. Oh and I almost forgot, when I called to schedule my pert test last month. The nastiest women answered the phone and was so incredibly rude. That should have been my first...
