At the corner of Silver Comet Trail and Floyd Road in Mableton, there is a small rest area with 2 park tables, and 2 other separated park benches between the trees. After walking on Silver Comet trail you can take a short rest while observing Silver Comet Trail, Floyd Road and Comet Trail Cycles across Floyd. No bathroom.

It’s just an awesome place for a long walk, jogging, riding a bicycle, skating, etc. Is long, continuously maintained and always busy. The entire trail goes all the way to Alabama crossing several counties. It has some particular looks depending on which part you are visiting. During the hot summer days is usually a bit cooler since a lot of areas are covered by trees sort of creating a natural tunnel. Parking is never an issue although it can get busy during weekends. But is always easy...

The trail is very beautiful, I'm just scared one day I'm going to get hit by a bike rider. Hopefully a rider see's this post and acknowledge that maybe he/she should not get too close when passing or at least say on your left. If I stretch my elbows out when running I'm pretty sure there would be an accident with me...
