11-15-23 edit: Once again management here has changed, and honestly imo things are worse now. A nearby dumpster I used for throwing out our trash was suddenly specifically a nearby store's only, with us being told there would be consequences for us using it in the future, only for that store to then close not long after. So really, what was the point with that? On top of that, apparently the previous manager in the leasing office recklessly assigned a new roommate who is allergic to cats to me, someone the leasing office had known for about a year as having a cat. I spoke with the current leasing office manager about transferring my current lease to another apartment and they said they'd have an idea of how many apartments are available by the start of November. I walked back to the leasing office at the start of this month and apparently NOBODY EVER MADE A NOTE ABOUT ME LOOKING TO TRANSFER. I've called TWICE today while I know they're damn well open to check in about this situation and they haven't even bothered answering the phone! Do yourself a favor, find somewhere else to live. I know rent is high as a kite but it's not that great here either.
3-3-22 edit: Things have been progressively getting better here. Their website has been updated into something that feels better to use, and they've officially posted a printed sign of their current office hours. Overall things seem to be looking better, and the rent is relatively cheap here. I can slightly recommend this place now.
Original post (1 star): The Terms and Conditions for me making a review on their website (which is very sketchy to look at, it's a very outdated website really) asks that I don't make any post that is "untrue, misleading, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory," all that jazz. So I'm not going to.
Meaning I'm not going to sugarcoat this: this place is a ghost town. Hardly anyone works the leasing office and whoever is working it right now doesn't even bother to post up notes on the doors anymore to let us know that they can't be bothered to keep the leasing office open during normal business hours anymore. It's the holiday season, so it's reasonable to expect gifts coming in from our families. But exactly how are any of us supposed to get these packages in time if nobody is going to be there even past noon when the weekday hours are supposed to go til 6 pm?
I couldn't not recommend this place more. It's cheap and affordable, and they provide internet, and they have all of these amenities and all that, but right at this moment until they somehow fix things around here--and actually open up the hot tub and firepits that they've been advertising for years, but haven't actually opened to the public in at least the few months I've been here--you're better off paying $900-$1000+ getting an...
Read moreMy biggest complaint: I had a one inch crack in my living room window for the entire time I lived there. It leaked any time it rained or snow. Considering Montana weather, that was 3/4 of the time. The suggestible “fix” was to continuously lather on “waterproof” caulking, which was not waterproof. I honestly could’ve done better with gorilla glue and some toilet paper. The amount of water caused the 2x4 in the wall to swell, which inevitably created a larger crack. One day I came home and my entire floor was covered in water and our paint was from that point on ruined from water damage. This had to do with improper installation of the gutters in the first place. If you would’ve hired a half decent contractor, instead of the cheapest piece of garbage worker you could find, it would’ve saved you and I a whole lot of stress and one less crappy review. Hopefully whomever lives there now doesn’t have to worry about this problem. That’s just one of the issues I had while living there. Second: our dish washer was never installed properly either. It looked as if a kindergartner was playing arts and crafts and decided to place a couple blocks just for sh*ts and giggles and then shoved a GE appliance in there as well. Third: on the outside, stadium view looks beautiful, but none of the amenities were ever in working function. The hot tub was never hot, but instead luke warm. That was what sold me in the first place. I lived on top of an empty and vacant space for 9 months and then a hot dog shop gets placed in there. I was constantly taken for granted by rude, unprofessional employees in the office whenever I asked for advice or help which just made me frustrated. Fourth: I had a family member pass away and had to move back home and received no help in finding someone to take over my lease. I posted on every social media site and Craigslist and could not find anyone to take over my lease. I was forced to pay for a VACANT apartment because Stadium View only leases to students even though there is a massive housing crisis in Bozeman. I paid $2800 for an empty bedroom that someone could have stayed in.
Last but not least, June of 2018 they asked me to pay $6.30, yes SIX DOLLARS from a move out service fee that they never contacted me regarding. This is more than a year after I moved. This was only after they asked me what they could’ve done to improve my stay and I wrote this review. Such a wonderful company. Good luck to anyone who decides to rent from this piece of work and...
Read moreThe hallways and stairwells are constantly disgusting and maintenance doesn’t do anything about it. When I moved in there was a ton of damage to my apartment and it has taken them almost 4 months now to even get started on fixing anything. The facilities like the gym and pool are sad and pretty run down which is concerning as the complex hasn’t been open very long. The outsides of the buildings are falling off. Also neighbors are constantly loud and annoying and management doesn’t do anything about it.
Edit: I didn't think it could get worse but it did. while the bedroom door in the picture was finally fixed. Our unit has now had issues with power to our fridge twice now. First a bit after I moved in that took 4 days to fix, all food in the fridge and freezer was lost and they refused to help or reimburse for lost food even though it was their fault for not fixing the issue in a timely manner. Most recently was just 2 weeks ago where our unit had no power for almost 30 hours. Most food was lost and they said they were looking into reimbursement, though I'm willing to bet they said it to shut me up. They also finally replaced the main entrance to my building but now the door doesn't lock unless you throw your entire body weight into the door. They also never informed residents about them no longer using the old parking passes, said they would remove it and refund the past months parking pass after I asked about it in person as they didn't't respond to emails or calls. This was 3 months ago now and I never saw that refund, nor did they remove it, so I'm still paying for it.
Edit 2: be warned if you put in a maintenance request they likely won’t actually do anything and instead will just mark it completed. Two of the pictures below show the time they claimed our hallway lights were fixed and almost 30 minutes later when I checked the hallway and there were still no lights.
Edit 3: they have recently switched to a new WiFi company that has given out 2 times in the past few weeks making it very difficult to study for and complete finals. There is also constant trash in the halls even though Montana law requires that all landlords in Montana keep communal spaces sanitary (the pizza in the images has been in the stairwell for...
