Strawberry Patch — Attraction in Napa

We have been going to the strawberry patch for years and we know that their strawberries are delicious! we also know that the strawberries are usually pretty small. I specifically asked the lady behind the counter. If the strawberries were from her farm, she yes. All of the other fruit that they were selling, was not from Napa County because I asked. I asked about the blueberries, cherries and the peaches which she had told me where they were all from. Was hoping and wanting to support our local community. Well my husband said he saw huge flats of strawberries in the van because they had picked them up from somewhere else, just like the rest of all the other fruit. I was all worried about them running out because they have been known to do that in the summer. All the Lady had to do was tell me the truth, but said she chose to lie. I cannot say that I will go back there ever again after driving 45 min to be lied too. Where is the integrity of ppl these days. My only complaint is that It’s hard to enjoy regular grocery store strawberries this time of year…these strawberries have to be some of the yummiest and most flavorful I’ve ever had. My boyfriend ate all my strawberries and offered to buy me grocery store ones! Can you believe that?! This lovely family also offers the sweetest smelling sweet pea flower bouquets, cherries, nuts, apricots and an assortment of vegetables. It’s truly special to also enjoy the unique quality of Napa valleys unique soils and climate that makes our wine and grapes so delicious in other fruits, especially by a local family owned establishment. My wife made us stop again for the umteenh time and now I realized we were going to miss the entire first half of the game Unacceptable this is completely unacceptable but then she came back to the car with a basket full of the Strawberries more red then I’ve ever seen.
