I have been to this location several times, never had an issue. Today I was needing some clothes, I found what I wanted to try on and went to the fitting rooms. As I approached the 2 girls covering the fitting rooms they both sat talking, looking up at me then away, disregarding me. I stood there for about 2 minutes, the lighter haired brunette (I didn't catch a name, again approx 12:30) said "what do you want?" I requested a room and she said "how many items?" I answered, and because they were long dresses, I had them draped over my arms, she rolled her eyes and sighed, grabbed my clothes and recounted them (just to confirm the number I told her) after counting she walked away and came back after about 30 seconds and said irritably said "what else do you need?" I said "a room... I didn't know if you wanted me to just go back there?" She said "well ya? Not sure what I would need to do for you? Leave your basket." So i went back and changed. Needing a different size I went and got the same items, when I came back I said "want me just to go back again?" And she opened her eyes wide like "duh" and motioned her hands in the direction of the rooms. After I was done I asked her if she wanted the clothes I didn't want or if I could just take them back to where I got them, she said "uhm, you need to put them away. Not me." I continued on my shopping and everything was okay. But this is by far the worst service I have ever experienced. She talked to me with irritation every time like I was interrupting her gossiping with another...
Read moreI went to return some clothes that were bought with hard earned money and I was treated like I stole something from the store. I have never been treated like that anywhere in my entire lifeâŚ..the customer service employee that helped us was Ariel. I guess I should actually clarify that she really didnât help us. She didnât greet us with a friendly smile, she didnât say hello. She said nothing. Iâve never been treated like this anywhere in my entire life until last night at target in Boise, she was not helpful. She was not friendly. She had no customer service skills. She was very rude. She never had a smile on her face. She had a very mean look on her face the entire time she interacted with us. Iâve never felt so uncomfortable in my entire life. Questioning when the clothes were bought questioning where they came from as I had already told her the situation someone bought my daughter school clothes and none of them fit so I needed to return. She acted like I didnât have in my pocket, but I was there to spend $600 at target but after I was treated like that, I never wanna go back. People like that should not work in customer service they should...

A-OK. This is the oldest of the three Target stores in our area. This Target is out of stuff a lot, especially if it's on sale. I've quickly learned that if you're going to Target because you NEED something then this location should probably be your last option. This store carries fewer items than other stores (my perception, not sure if it's factual).
This location is also the dirtiest of the three local Targets. Not just in terms of gross bathrooms (a usual), but the floors just aren't shiny and the store just doesn't have that Target ambiance that Target is known as. Perhaps a small remodel is necessary-- and better inventory, especially with their sales pieces.
I personally prefer the Target in Nampa-- it's clean, well stocked, keeps a larger inventory. I, however, frequent the location on Eagle and Chinden. It's near the Hewlett Packard campus and on my way home.
In sum, Target is a great store and don't get me wrong, so is this one, it's just not up to par because it predates the new stores and the inventory is...
