Delicious food that's was very welcome after a long day on the road. Friendly staff.
Noodles & Co is a fast-casual restaurant chain that specializes in, you guessed it, noodles! While they offer a range of meat and seafood options, one of the standout features of this chain is their commitment to vegetarian and vegan options. First and foremost, the vegetarian options at Noodles & Co are abundant. They offer a range of dishes that are meat-free, including popular options like their Thai Green Curry, Pad Thai, and Japanese Pan Noodles. Additionally, many of their vegetarian dishes can be customized to be vegan or gluten-free, making it a great option for those with dietary restrictions. One of my personal favorite vegetarian options at Noodles & Co is the mushroom stroganoff at Noodles & Co - made with sautéed mushrooms, roasted garlic cream sauce, and egg noodles. The dish is rich, creamy, and full of savory umami flavor. The mushrooms are perfectly cooked and provide a satisfying meaty texture, while the sauce is decadent without being too heavy. One of the great things about Noodles & Co is that they offer a range of customization options, so you can make your mushroom stroganoff even more delicious by adding in your favorite veggies or extra protein. I love adding in some broccoli and grilled tofu to make it a bit more filling and nutritious.
Another standout feature of Noodles & Co is their commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients. This means that even their vegetarian dishes are packed with flavor and nutrition. From fresh herbs to seasonal veggies, there's always something interesting and tasty...
Read moreMy first experience with Noodles & Company was at a Yelp event at the Harley Davidson center. They had a booth and let us sample a couple of their kinds of pasta. I really enjoyed it and wanted more, yet never made it that way. After well over a year of "meaning" to try it, I did it! I met two people for lunch and we chose to sit outside on their patio facing Milwaukee St.
I was craving pasta, yet trying to avoid carbs and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they now make their pasts with veggies, too. You can get zucchini noodles in place of the noodle! Yes!! We got the chicken curry, mac n cheese, pot stickers (6 for $5), Asian meatballs (10 for $5), and steak stroganoff. All very good. I. Want. More!
After we ordered, we were given a number and to select a seat. We chose the patio. My friend, who ordered her food before me, waited 5 additional minutes for her food to arrive. Now its counter service so the people making the food wouldn't have known we were at the same table, but it still sucked. So not docking them for this.
What I am docking them was the cleanliness of the soda/silverware station-- kinda gross. Generally, if the mess looked fresh or is customer caused and they're slammed kind of a way I get that, but this looked simply unclean... standing water next to the lids and behind the to-go boxes, water stains, and some dried on food. Other than this area, it would have been a 5 star great experience for me.
I plan to eat...
Read moreI used to love Noodles and Co. until my recent visit last Sunday (3.28.21)
A friend and I stopped in for lunch. They do not have a lot of non-dairy or lactose free options. She for no parmesan even though the sauce had some dairy in it. They put parmesan on her meal. She didn't complain about the cheese but there was a hair in her gnocchi. She took it up to the front to let them know and have them re-make it. (she did not make a fuss, I had to convince her to complain). She did mention the cheese as well and that's when our experience plummeted. We could hear the workers talking bad about her and saying that theres dairy in the sauce and if she knew that. They re-made it and we decided to leave at that point bc we were embarrassed that the workers were making remarks about her. As we left, we passed by the front and whoever the cook was, looked at us and rolled his eyes and shook his head. (this was around 1-1:30).
Ruined my experience, will not return...
