Where do I begin? I bought an iMac desktop back in 2020, and last year, I noticed it was beginning to run extremely slow, to the point where nothing was opening anymore. Finally, my iMac officially crashed, and I knew I had two options: either fix it or get a new one.

I had received a few quotes, but due to the delicacy of my screen, many technicians were reluctant to touch it or were charging an insane fee just to open it. When I spoke to other technicians, it seemed like they were attempting quick fixes on my computer. However, my experience with Zap Computers was night and day.

Upon arriving, the technician Julio was very friendly and knowledgeable. We discussed the realm of possibilities regarding what could be wrong with my computer, but he emphasized that we wouldn't know for sure until they opened and examined it. We talked about the delicacy of the screen, and not once did he mention charging me extra, unlike the others.

I left my computer overnight, and the next day, he called to inform me exactly what was happening. He presented several options, some cost-effective and others that would enhance my computer's performance beyond its original state. I opted to install a new hard drive, and I cannot begin to tell you how fast my computer is now. It's running faster and better than when I bought it. I had two computers repaired by Zap Computers and both were not working at the time of service. The one reason I picked this place instead of others ( there are many to choose from) was the strong and convincing reviews I read on Yelp. When I first met Julio, I was most impressed by his demeanor and his knowledge of computers. Without any reservation, I entrusted my two computers ( one Samsung all-in-one desk top and one Toshiba lap top), with lots of personal info. to his able hands. Within 48 hours, they were all ready for pickup. Their repair cost was very reasonable for everything did to the computers. I highly recommend them for any computer repair you need. My 5 star rating was given because of the exceptional service he provided after the fact when my desktop was highjacked by a falsified HP Representative online who injected several viruses onto my computer after I refused to pay an outrageous sum to help me download the proper HP driver. I didn’t know about this until I couldn’t find my old Document files. I called Julio again for help. Not only did he (his highly knowledgeable tech partner) recovered all my old files which were moved to a different folder by the fake HP rep, he also removed several and all injected viruses from the computer and stopped future entry by other intruders without my knowledge. My Lenovo IdeaPad’s screen broke after my daughter accidentally pulled it off my desk and I was procrastinating fixing it, but they really helped me. They initially estimated about a week, but to my surprise, they managed to find the part locally and had it repaired in just one day- amazing turnaround time.
